Topic: Next Nintendo Direct?

It would be quite something if Nintendo's next tweet turned out to be just the Animal Crossing early August update.

@theJGG Um, maybe I'm missing something, but if a direct was planned (which I don't think it is), what possible reason would they have to delay it?

Why would Nintendo delay a direct because of some rumors/leaks? lol

I hope it doesn’t get delayed, Nintendo has kept fans waiting long enough.

@link3710 I'm overthinking this. Logically speaking this is an impossibility. But now, it'll either happen tomorrow, or won't. Hopefully it turns out to be.

If there is a Direct tomorrow what time will it most likely be aired?

@Don if it was 10:00 AM Monday morning in Japan, that would be 9:00 PM Sunday in New York and 2:00 AM London...I think?

@Don If it's a Mini then 2pm UK time but if it's a full Direct then 10pm or 11pm UK time. Given full Directs get announced 24+ hours in advance there's 3-4 hours left to announce.

Thought that this was fun and decided to post it here.

I know Nintendo have always announced a Direct 24+ hours before, but is there a reason why that HAVE to?

Given they have done a few things different recently (paper mario announcement + a game reveal during a tree house) I wonder if all bets are off?

I recall Nintendo did shadow drop a normal direct in the past. I remember people complaining that they didn’t like it just suddenly being dropped because it ruined the suspense and they got news spoiled
