Topic: Next Nintendo Direct?

If tomorrow will be a Nintendo Direct, i'm sure Nintendo will suddenly leave a Youtube video of pre-recorded Mini Direct like we have Mini Direct before.

It’s interesting that he’s been quiet recently, and why he’s only now speaking up. To be honest out of all the “leakers”, he’s probably the only one I’d put any trust into simply because of his history.

@FragRed no reason for Nintendo not to shadow drop the Direct.

Super Mario All Stars was mentioned as a possible NSO release. I would prefer either a download or physical release of this or as part of a 2D Mario collection. Sure we have a few 2D Mario games on NSO but I prefer to own a copy on Switch instead of having them on Switch for a limited number of years. This year is also a Yoshi anniversary with his first appearance in Super Mario World 30 years ago. If would be awesome if they make a Yoshi collection as well but that’s probably really pushing it.

King Zell is confirming a direct tomorrow?? Not bad! Seeing as there's been no announcement, it's gotta be a mini, which are usually dropped at 10am EST

But I really hope that it isn't a Mini although it most likely is because in Direct Mini they usually don't announce really big games like BotW2

I think they will most likely shadow-drop a direct tomorrow. What size though? I suspect it will be another mini direct but I could be wrong.

@Clammy The last Mario Maker update was the final one they are doing so I doubt that.

I think 50% I agree with @theJGG that nintendo might have seen the rumors and decided to delay it. I was always wondering if that was what was happening during all the rumors in febuary.

If Nintendo were planning a Direct tomorrow and then decided to delay it because of the rumours, that is not something that can just be done at a drop of the hat.

Remember, any third party studios that are to be announcing anything in the Direct would need to be informed and agreed to the delay as they will have had all their own social media announcements to be timed to coincide with the Direct. Remember the time Nintendo delayed a Direct because of the earthquake? All the third party publishers still made their announcements as initially planned.

@Slowdive Very good point. Nintendo now have valid reasons to either delay the Direct, or just air it.
