@rallydefault if that were really true there wouldn't be a reason to check any videogame websites for news. You have too much to play as it is, no need to be tempted by further games. Plus you get to save lots of monies.
Well I'm hoping for something a little out there. Pikmin 3 Deluxe and Mario Allstars 2 are great and all, but I've played the games already. I'm hoping for something exciting like a new F-zero, Starfox, Last Story, Pandora's Tower, Eternal Darkness, Endless Ocean, Project Zero, Power Stone, Advance Wars, Mario Strikers, Mario Golf, Sin and Punishment, 1080, Crazy Taxi, House of the Dead, Shadows of the Damned, Jet Set Radio, or a new IP.
Or Bayonetta 3 footage would be nice. Bring back the hype train
@aquinas1776 I quite liked Zero but I played it through co-op with my wife, which helped. I was hoping we'd eventually get a treasure developed Starfox. But sadly I don't think that's likely to happen now.
No one expecting anything Kirby related ? Hal said they have big plans for the future of Kirby and after 4 games with the same formula I’d love having something fresh like a 2.5d / 3D game or if I’m dreaming an rpg. Kirby with its multiple copy abilities would translate very well to a jrpg I think.
@Duboiss That would be interesting but I don't know if Nintendo would be up for making one of their best selling series an rpg like they did with paper mario because if they were to use the same director for that game as Paper Mario CS and SS it would fail bad.
Nintendo, all I literally want is a confirmation of the 3D Mario Collection. Anything else is bonus, but I need a 3D Mario Collection in my life. No plans to buy AAA games for the rest of the year, but announce a 3D Mario Collection and I'll pre-order immediately. Nintendo, please. Those expectations surely ain't too high, right?

Man, that's weak. I mean, all the anticipation isn't really Nintendo's fault, it's just everyone getting themselves all riled up over rumors, but not only is this only third-party games, it's only previously-announced third-party games. And I saw on Twitter that it's only 10 minutes long according to Nintendo Japan. So like, why even bother doing this? Just put everything into a big general Direct.
@veeflames Uh, it specifically says it's partners only. No 1st party developed games. So unless they outsourced the Mario collection (which I doubt), it's not being announced here. It's exclusively 3rd party developed and/or published titles.
So we'll definitely see Bravely Default II I'd wager and probably Doom Eternal, anything else is up in the air.
