@FishyS yeah, smrpg sadly rules it out D: @Anti-Matter I hope so! But like @FishyS said, it would likely interfere with SMRPG in November.
@BobTheBunkerGuy thanks! I made them myself on an iPad, it’s surprisingly not hard to do, just requires some effort in replication to make it look legit.
Also, here’s a new TTYD mock-up with the hashtag added (reason it was originally excluded was because some Nintendo products have them and some don’t so I figured I’d apply that to the mockups)
About had a heart attack upon first glance.
Nice mock up though.

@blindsquarel thanks!
I think a lot of people would have a heart attack if they saw a random legit-looking image of a TTYD remaster announcement while scrolling down forum comments lol

I’m such an idiot, I woke up at 7:00 in my time zone being disappointed there was no direct announcement, only to remember Nintendo announces them at 8:00 Instead. These stupid rumors are taking over my life
@TheBigBlue@Nintoz@Stamina_Wheel Haven't they mostly been announced at around 2:00PM Irish Time? That's certainly been the case for the past couple Directs 🤔

@ElRoberico interesting point. People speak of the old Virtual Console these days as the gospel, but in reality, you needed to pay 7 dollars CA to own a single NES game. The N64 games were even higher in price just for a single one. Sure you aren’t “owning” the games, but the price difference is huge. Instead of buying around 5-6 N64 games for 12 dollars each, you can own over 20 for a yearly 50 dollar fee. I liked Virtual Console for its variety and how much more games it has compared to the drip fed NSO, but the price differences to own all those games is quite different. In that way, I prefer NSO. I would have never discovered hidden gems like F-Zero X because I wouldn’t have paid 12 dollars for it
@TheBigBlue I'm personally hoping for one of two outcomes in regards to NSO's eventual end on Switch:
NSO continues on Switch 2 and your subscription/games carry over to the next system
NSO is retired and you can buy each app for €60+/- depending on the games available (e.g. cheaper to buy all the NES games than it would be for N64 for instance)
@Fizza I think it's usually a 2pm (our time zone) announcement for the February directs but for summer and September they seem to go for 3pm instead.
From what I can see at least, perhaps it has to do with clocks changing!
@TheBigBlue I think that's fair. I do agree with what @Fizza said. If they abandon the NSO apps, I hope they offer a discounted bundle price for them. I would pay $60US or more for at least the Nintendo ones. I really, really, REALLY don't want to buy the games individually again.

@Stamina_Wheel The biggest question was if Nintendo wanted to be overshadowed by the Apple event. Clearly, they want to completely avoid it. Looks like we're getting a Wednesday announcement for a Thursday Direct.
Or we're all entirely wrong, and this ruins many weekends.
