It's just a common phrase that people say incorrectly, not necessarily from a particular region. Most likely comes from someone hearing the phrase incorrectly when they first learned it, or inherited the incorrect phrase from someone else who misheard it. It's similar to when people say "for all intensive purposes" instead of "for all intents and purposes", or when people say "could of/should of" instead of "could have/should have".

Anyway, I wasn't terribly thrilled with today's showcase, but that just means it wasn't for me I guess. I'm downloading World of Tanks anyway to try it for an hour at least.

@boop23 Maybe not in your opinion, but people assume that if they don’t like it, nobody will. I loved it. So it’s not a “horrible Direct.” You just didn’t like it.

Well Super Mario Bros was released on September 13th 1985. So I'm guessing if there will either be a Direct on the 13th or the Direct will be earlier and the Mario 3D Collection will release on 13th. That's my guess. Nintendo like their symbolic stuff.

If it'll be released anytime in September then there should definitely be a Direct on Friday, because they need to do all of the advertising, promotion, etc

A bit closer to home - blowing into NES cartridges is pointless. Removing it from the machine and putting it back in is all that you need to do.

I think the ship has set sail for the 13th of September, if people are seriously still believing that rumour. If there’s going to be a big game this year, it will be November or December most likely. A direct in September perhaps.

I'm still expecting the 3D Mario collection to be another Star Fox Grand Prix.

I will check playasia again for some unnounced games from Mini Direct.

Lol that's a fairly accurate comparison. I've pretty much stopped using social media at this point. It just seems such an unhealthy form of communication to me. Brings out the worst in people, (or brings out the worst people).
A lot of people seem to have forgot that society actually worked just fine without it.

@Dezzy I’d consider forums like this a form of social media. Forums are just more structured.

I'm going for Friday 4th September Nintendo Direct for the first party stuff. That was the date it was held last year!

@Dezzy unless it is only digital it cannot be released by september as in Japan there is a 6week rule from announcement to retail
