Get used to everyone tweeting about Friday for the next couple of days. Everyone seems to think they know something and are all "teasing" things. In other words, they all want to be seen and by not being specific about anything they "tease", it means they can get away with being wrong when nothing happens, or its only a partner showcase.

@BenAV I've been saying that Mario Remasters were leaker bait for the entire year, there was too much coverage of it. Every time a rumor comes from that many sources, that fast, it turns out to be that. Same thing with Pokemon Stars, same thing with Star Fox Racing, same thing with Metroid Prime Trilogy. I can't recall the last time a first-party game was leaked by more than two people more than a week or so before reveal.
@link3710 How often do first party Nintendo games get leaked? I don’t think it’s that often. Nintendo are very good at keeping things close to their chest, unlike most other developers.

@FragRed Well, leaks that people actually believe? Not often. Pokemon almost always technically gets leaked, but no one believes it because it ends up being one of a million anonymous leaks on 4chan. Mario & Rabbids did, but that was a Ubisoft game.
Paper Mario did get leaked, but we had nothing other than 'Paper Mario is coming'. Smash Ultimate also had some rumors I think, but I don't think anyone committed for it. The Paper Mario leak said a Metroid game was coming soon too but we'll see on that. Federation Force was 'leaked' too, but that was after the Blast Ball mode had already been revealed and was again a super vague 'More Metroid is coming' that may or may not have been wishful thinking when we got such a weird spinoff out of nowhere. Oh, and Pikmin 3 Deluxe was of course leaked. They got the title right so... yeah that was probably a real leak.
I think that's all from the last 5 years, people are free to add more if I missed anything.
@DannyBoi next Friday is gonna make one year since we don't have a general Nintendo Direct, i'm suspicious theres a general Nintendo Direct in 28 of august, i'm tired of waiting for Nintendo to do a general Nintendo Direct, is Pikmin 3 Deluxe is going to be the Holiday title of Switch for 2020?or Nintendo will anounce a big game like a Mario Kart 9 or Super Mario All-Star 2/3D?
@Magician Given Mario Kart 8 DX's contribuitons to Switch sales, I wouldn't be surprised if MK9 is set to be a launch title for the next system. It'd a huge launch title, especially if it's paired with a major single-player title like 3D Zelda or 3D Mario.
Mario Kart Tour had the same team that was working on Mario Kart 8, even if it's mobile game they wouldn't have had the time to work on MK9 for release this year.
The Taiko games look fun. I really enjoyed Puyo Puyo Tetris but don't really feel the need for a sequel. Skipped through a majority of the rest, not much else of interest.
