No way are they gonna rush a Zelda game just for the sake of symbolic consistency.
If it's not ready by December, they'll just delay it.

So that maintenance for the eShop (at the least) has enabled access to your wishlist on the web version of the eshop.

@Grumblevolcano Weird, well the web version was just updated ahead of the maintenance then.

I thought of something. DOOM 64 is a preorder bonus for all versions of DOOM Eternal, right? Well if DOOM 64 becomes purchasable before the Switch version of DOOM Eternal can be preordered then that will discourage preordering DOOM Eternal for Switch digitally. So by that logic, we'll probably have the new DOOM Eternal Switch release date before March 20th.

@Grumblevolcano Sounds logical honestly, and from what we've heard about the status of DOOM Eternal's port, quite doable on Id's end.

@Grumblevolcano Is the maintence on the Eshop routine maintence or is it unusual? It is allhappening at the same time and taking four hours. I tried to get on the Switch eshop but couldn't.

I have a feeling the direct is going to be announced tommorow..
