Topic: New to Switch but long time Nintendo fan

Hey all, I used to read this site daily a few years ago when I had a 3DS and a WiiU, but fell off a gaming cliff for a few years. Just got a Switch and been loving botw. Has anyone got any recommendations of what I should get next? I remember getting SMB3 and then World for Christmas, two of my fondest memories

@Picola-Wicola I dare say, Mario Odyssey is about as epic as Super Mario Bros 3 was. The game is pure joy. Some will disagree, but hype and high review scores are backed up by the sales.
Mario Kart 8 is why I got a Switch.(oh, you maybe had that on WiiU)
Splatoon 2 (Octo Expansion DLC is a must if you like the single player campaign. Octo is basically another single player game)
Mario+Rabbids is great, and often on deep discounted sale for around $15. I don't even like turn based combat, and loved this game.

Super Mario 3D All-Stars is still available at some stores. It was a limited run, no longer available on eshop. It has HD versions of Mario Sunshine, Mario Galaxy, Mario 64.

9. Thumper
10. Hades

@Picola-Wicola Move out of the way everybody, I got the perfect game. Mario Odyssey or Legend of zelda Breath of the Wild.

@Picola-Wicola i just bought mario kart 8 deluxe and there is one problem with it, it now has class 200cc, which you need to use the breaks in, which is fine. and the old 150cc is like 100cc which seems a bit stupid, i did ask nintendo about it but they did not reply. i stoped gaming for a while too, around the end of the wii. games i play on switch are alot of FORTNITE and smaller games like "table top racing", "yet another zombie defense HD", "blaze rush", "danger mouse" and the old "doom" games. there is some brilliant bargains for 1 pound/euro on eshop you should have a look at them👍

Apart from Breath of the Wild I think these are some of the best in their entire series:
