@Eel

And how would that work, given that she's young in the base game, whereas Impa is and old woman?

I meant that as in:

Young Impa will/may just look like a cooler battle-ready version of Paya

@Reynoblade Hyrule Warriors:Age of Calamity is really a dramatic story?Nintendo might suprise us and give a happy ending istead of the tragic ending we expect for this game, everyone is expecting a tragic ending for this game, and Nintendo suprise us and give a happy ending istead, is very uncommon for Nintendo to this, most of the Legend of Zelda have happy ending, and the same can happen here, everyone expected a tragic ending for this game and boom here a happy ending istead.

To be fair, the game doesn't need to end with the 'death' of Link and Zelda sacrificing herself to hold Ganon.

Things happened after that. So maybe a more uplifting finale for this particular story could include the survivors (Impa & friends) working to take Link to the shrine of resurrection and fighting off the remains of Ganon's forces, maybe even battling some big bad boss made out of residual malice to spice things up.

Then we have a bittersweet epilogue of them rebuilding the few villages that survived and stuff and setting things up for the start of BotW.

@Cynas maybe that Guardian show in the box art of the game, is gonna have the same role of Proxy, and something tell me Ganon is gonna corrupt this Guardian and we gonna be forced to destroy it

@Eel If they use Paya’s model for Impa would that mean Impa also has a birthmark?

Will we have a bathing suit option like in Fire Emblem Warriors? Will it be cannon to have Link fighting Ganon’s forces in only his underwear

Is the birthmark in the same location?

@-Green- it was canon in BOTW already.

Don't be silly, that's not how birthmarks work.

It's on the other glute.

@-Green- I don't think that was a thing in Fire Emblem Warriors, unfortunately.

I think in FE Warriors there’s a broken armor state that has them in basically their undergarments

@-Green- Ah there's that, but it's not swimwear, and it's quite obscure as a mechanic.

The characters look weird too. Hah, it's quite clear they still think there's heavy armor on them.

If the characters are in their underwear it will probably be easier to spot their birthmarks.

@damien33ad I think you’re reading too much into the trailer, it didn’t come across as very “story” oriented.

I don't think it really "proves" that at all. We don't even know how much story will be in this, let alone in the next game!

@Eel you could use a Zelda fishing gif at least.
