Topic: My switch just died

As a Switch owner with a perfectly working console,that connects to Wifi without issue,has surprisingly quick download speeds,a battery life that is more than adequate,a dock that has yet to make a single scratch on my console and a pair of Joy-con that have not let me down once.I have to say it's laughable,claiming it to be the worst console that Nintendo have put out.In fact,it's far and away the finest piece of kit they've ever put out.It's an absolute pleasure to play on this console.It's so quick and smooth to use it makes the Wii U feel like an antique.My phone is super quick with 6gb of RAM and a brilliant screen, in no way does it feel like I'm playing on old tech with my Switch.

As for games,of course they might not be to everyone's tastes but I cant understand how Nintendo can be criticised when in the console's opening 9 months they'll have released

Splatoon 2
Pokken Tournament
Fire Emblem Warriors
Mario Odyssey
Xenoblade 2

as well as good 3rd party games, Mario & Rabbids,FIFA,NBA 2K17,WWE.Skyrim

then we have the kind of indie games that the Wii U would usually miss out on,games like Rocket League,Overcooked,Sonic Mania,Stardew Valley.So Nintendo have delivered here,securing the best indie games and making sure they're coming out on a regular basis.Then we have all the arcade games,games the vast majority of people who complain about the lack of VC have never played. Arcade games with various features like online leaderboards,TATE mode etc,features that no previous VC releases have had.

and on top of that they announced Yoshi,Kirby,Metroid Prime 4 and Pokemon,just 3 months into the console's life.This is just what we know about and the console's not even 6 months old.What more can they possibly do?

So splatoon isnt tied to an online system? How poor is that?
Luckily I just spend about 20hours with Zelda but starting anew gives me somewhat of a headache. Maybe tomorrow...

Dont remember anyone saying its their worst console. Its a good one. What I am mad about is their attitude towards clients - their customer service. At least thats my experience. And why shouldnt I voice it. I am a fan but not a fanboy. If I had believed the switch is nintendoa worst I wouldnt have bought it. But also I am not gonna say its without issues or that its perfect, because it isnt.

Must be regional then. Or in other words nintendo has markets they care about and markets they dont care about and that is sad.

I have to say the UK customer service was really good. Fast efficient and no hassle. We need cloud saving to come quickly as I lost a lot of progress in a lot of games but other than that absolutely no complaints from me.

I've always had good experiences with their customer service.

These threads are just asking for people to get irked, though. It's 100% anecdotal...

Their service is as good as the 3rd party repair shop they use. Mine sent in twice and dock once and pro once. Nintendo gave me Zelda and Arms free digitally and $50 in eShop credit for the hassle.
Not too shabby.

I called that repair shop and complained about the missing screen protector. It was an amfilm screenprotector - not the rubbish nintendo official product.

To my surprise, they offered to send me Hori Premium one - wonder if thats any good - but still - its nice that a third party shop makes up for something.

IMO this should be a standard policy - if a nintendo switch comes in for repair and has a screen protector attached which has to be removed and thrown away for repairs sake - then a new screen protector should be given

I got my Switch back a few weeks ago (sent in because of the "orange screen of death"). Everything was intact. I'm completely satisfied with how Nintendo handled things.
