Topic: Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate

Got our Garuga armor. Needed Gendrome Hardfangs as final piece, but no Gendrome specific quest, so I went on Dessert Harvest Tour. Carved a Fey Wyvern Gem and got two Bird Wyvern Gems in the reward box, the only two rewards in the box lol.

Then last night, scored a Wind +10 / Attack +4 OO talisman.

Can't wait to beat Valstrax G3 urgent and finish off G4 to unlock transmog. I want my Garuga skills with Glavenus transmog, and Astalos, and Barioth, and... there's so many cool armors I want to flaunt!

Beat the G4 urgent last night and shot up to HR70. I need to go back and do the high rank hypers to upgrade my weapons. I'm also needing a good set for switch axe.

@JaxonH LOL farmed that bad boy last night I decided I wanted that GX armor real bad. I couldn't figure out how in the world to farm that thing I did the same thing eventually. That armor has been on the back burner for a little while till I figured something out. The hardest armor set I made till I figured that out, and even then takes some grinding to do. I always liked some of the drome armor sets as far as looks go. Now I got it and its actually pretty useful not sure how well it will be end game as the defense isn't the greatest, and very costly takes tons of hyper parts to upgrade a little bit. I will use it for transmog later on for something. Right now its a fun set to tool around with and help others out with the Gendrome sword and shield. Which was even more grinding. They make you earn that one. I literally got the Glavenous armor parts from just doing completion quests not one single grind. Except the Maccao piels. I got them from doing the conga quest kill ten or twenty. Take on the intruders. I should make Gammoth armor another set I always wanted but never made. This Transmog thing brings on a whole new level of grinding goodness.

Slowly but steadily getting there. I am about to cross my first 100hrs of play!

G-rank Hyper Yian Garuga. I need some parts (Hyper Garuga Shards) to upgrade my armor. I have searched the entire Internet from one corner to the other. There is a G4 quest called Garuga's Comeuppance. How do I unlock it???

It really does. Could make 3 Garuga armor sets just to transmog into 3 different fashion sets. Oh my gosh, I'll be playing this game until the next one releases...

@JaxonH I'm not entirely sure how to unlock it, but I can always post it for you, if you'd like.

Edit: Usually Hyper monster quests unlock after you've beaten their non-hyper quest — Villager requests excluded.

Ya, I've beaten his non hyper version, because that's the armor set I have. I farmed him a TON.

But I appreciate the offer, maybe me and my bro can take you up on that later. Since we both need the parts for our Garuga set upgrades.

Maybe it unlocked after the final boss? I hear a lot of hyper quests unlock that way. Or beating other hyper G rank monsters?

I was hunting with my brother, just saw your message now. But I should send you a request anyways, I know I had you on Wii U (I think, anyways).

Beat Ahtal-Ka, and the quest unlocked! Already farmed it and upgraded armor, and am now working on transmogging a Glavenus set to the Garuga armor. Because the Glavenus armor was what I made in MHXX, and I really wanted that armor again. But the skills of the Garuga set were perfect for what I like to run. SOOOOOO glad transmog is in this game.

And let me just gush here. Wow. Ahtal-ka has to be the pinnacle of the series in terms of amazing monsters. Not only is it better than every other monster I've ever fought, it's better by a considerably wide margin. Unreal. That monster was epic!!!

I love this freaking game. Gosh dang do I love it. Easily, easily my favorite Monster Hunter game of all time, and honestly, it might just be my new favorite video game of all time. I got 400 hours in Generations before transferring the data, and I've tagged another 100 hours on top of that in MHGU. That's 500 hours total. Not to mention the time I put into MHXX. The most I got from any game in the series up until now was 600 hrs with MH3U. It looks like this game is going to take the crown pretty soon here.

Ya I remember hunting, just wasn't sure if it was MH3U on Wii U, or MH4U or MHGen, or a combination of all the above.

Now that you mention it though, it was more recent than 3U. Although I swear you were around for 4U also, along with Haru and a few others.

Finally beat the Comet of Disaster and got the credits. Good times.

Got my Glavenus armor transmogged to my Garuga set! And farmed Up Perception gems to swap out with my Tremor Res for capture quests, since those Deviant quests have a ton of cap quests.

Sorry about earlier, we were doing quests that were above your HR. You'll be caught up real soon though. It's nice once you beat the end boss of G Rank, because then you can fight whatever you want whenever you want it, barring the Hyper quests you have to unlock, the deviants you have to unlock, Bloodbath Diablos which requires hosting and beating one quest for each of the 5 new G-Rank-only deviants, and the end game gated monsters behind certain HR limits, like Chameleos and Fatalis and Chaotic Gore Magala. Still, besides the HR gated quests, you can still participate in quests others host, so no big deal there.

Now that we unlocked Bloodbath Diablos, I think I'll focus on hypers, unlocking certain quest chains and the Hyper armors, which actually require a specific chain of quests.
