The Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate Demo works great to demonstrate hunting, collecting, and combat. It's not getting into the main hub or the storyline, which I always find kinda sad in MH demos. I like the hometowns and story and focusing only on the hunting side of things could turn newcomers off.
It has 3 missions (3 different maps with 3 different boss monsters) and many small creatures as well.
It has Single Player where you travel along with 2 helpful Felynes.
The same missions can also be played Online. Works fast and fluid with 4 players.
Controls work well once accustomed.
Graphics are bumped up a bit from last time and look good enough but not outstanding. Still manages to be the best-looking main series Monster Hunter game docked and portable, but not by much. Which can be disappointing, since Monster Hunter 3 (Wii) was one of the graphically most impressive games at the time. Anyway, for me personally the game has enough details, atmosphere and charm to make up for the last gen visuals.
For someone who claims to be an expert sure looks like a noob lol
To me it looks like he had never used a great sword. This was painful for me to watch and towards the end he's looking for the monster and practically runs right by it while it was sleeping. He was clueless as to what the arrows were there for.

If I was only ever able to have Monster Hunter and EO games in the future, I would be a happy man.
First time hunter game is super fun, but will take some time to learn what all my special attacks do and when to use which one, also to learn about all the items
Should be fun to learn
On a side note how the heck are we suppose to share our hub Id with friends with no wat to communicate with friends
I'm really disappointed by the demo. I've never played MH before so I'd expect at least some sort of tutorial or assistance, but there's nothing like that... ok I get that I'm supposed to find the big one and probably kill it (?) but where's the button layout? The enemy's health meter or any feedback that I'm doing what I should do? Can I ignore the critters in the other parts of the level or do I gain anything from killing them? Now it felt like I was just trying to kill a big animal with no purpose and no idea what I'm doing. Nah, I wonder if I ever touch the game again... very disappointed...
@ReaderRagfish@Yosheel ok I see. Unfortunately switch gamers are rare in my environment and I know no one who plays MH. We'll see if I find the patience to try with YouTube.
