Topic: Metal Slug Attack Reloaded

Okay, so, I'm not really a fan of this series, but this game is different.

Has anyone grabbed this yet, how is it? It has me interested because the gameplay is somewhat similar to Battle Cats. You collect units, put together a team, and basically "spam" them to destroy the enemy base along with whatever enemies or bosses the base throws back at you.

In Battle Cats, the difficulty can be infuriating since it's a mobile free-to-play game, but for some reason it was the only game that had me keep coming back. Been wanting to try other games with similar gameplay. (though a lot of them that I find end up not being...good. lol)

Anyways, for those of you who got this now, how is it? Should I go for it?

This wasn’t a lot of fun back in the day, I doubt they added anything in the re-release to make it worth playing.

Yeah it’s a pretty ancient mobile game. It even took me a solid minute to recognize it cuz it’s been so long.

Bleh, after looking around people are saying it gets boring quickly...sticking with Battle Cats then, at least that's on Switch I guess. x_x

Well I decided to give the game a try, I had $7 in coins for the eShop anyways...a lot of complaints I'm hearing is what you'd expect from this type of game...I mean, Battle Cats had the same problem of grinding, even on the Switch (those damn Advent bosses are a nightmare on Switch, lol). I think some people also ignored the parts where you need to upgrade your stuff.

Anyways, no idea if it'll keep me interested like Battle Cats, so we'll see what happens here.
