Does anyone have an up to date fix for this? Ive had my switch 8 months and have only played Mario Kart online about 15 hours. When I race online with friends I get the communication error and disconnect about once every 3rd race. My internet is stable, just got a new mesh router system. I work from home and never have any issues. My husband plays Call of Duty PS4 online and it doesn’t disconnect. He’s NOT playing while I have this issue though. I changed the DNS and this worked for a little while but it’s started up again. I saw someone post other Primary DNS numbers to change it to but now it won’t let me change mine- keeps saying invalid. I also have joycon disconnect every so often, but the Nintendo pro controller stays connected. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Things I’ve tried:
Powering the switch off and on
Changing the DNS to primary -008.008.008.008, secondary 000.000.000.000

@Saltycat85 After what you've done, I'm not sure I can help much. If you got an error code, you can plug the code into the Nintendo support search bar. They often have explanations for codes that can help get you going again. https://en-americas-support.nintendo.com/app/contact

Otherwise I'd say ask Nintendo support. They have a phone line and chat messenger (also available via the pasted link above). It's fairly quick to get a nice person on the phone, if you call. I've had very positive experiences with their phone & chat messenger. If you call, it can really streamline things if you have the support page loaded, in case they want to point you to a page of directions. If they ask for your email when you call, its only to log your issue in case you have to call back again, so they can look up what you covered with your previous call, which is helpful.
