Where is Wave 2??? I’ve already played Tour Ninja Hideaway like 100 times!

@VancouverVelocityFan All 6 waves will be released between March 2022 to the end of 2023. That's 22 months. Based on the pattern, each wave will be released at least every 4 months. Wave 1 was March '22, Wave 2 is (most likely) July '22 (this month), Wave 3 November '22, Wave 4 March '23, Wave 5 July '23 and Wave 6 November/December '23. We knew there was gonna be a few month wait in between Waves. Shouldn't be surprising.

@b1galbos89 I know but I just thought we’d get an announcement soon. It’s been 120 days since Wave 1 released and still no new info

@VancouverVelocityFan They'll likely do an "out now!" or "out tomorrow!" thing when tehy finally announce it.

Games I'm playing right now:
Tears of the Kingdom - Switch

Kingdom Hearts 2 - PS4
Ace Attorney Trilogy - Switch

Given the 7-Eleven ad didn't mean anything (the ad has to be removed by today, it's the 17th in Japan already), I'm leaning towards the idea that rather than the gaps between waves 1, 2 and 3 being approximately equal that instead waves 2 and 3 are much closer together (e.g. wave 2 in late August/early September, wave 3 in late October/early November) as a way to boost NSO Expansion Pack resubscribing. Expansion Pack subscriptions are only available as a year so those who subscribed at launch are locked in until late October 2022.

@Grumblevolcano This could definitely be the case. I'm honestly still holding out for one more week as July still makes the most sense in my mind. But at this point, I have no idea what they're thinking.

Currently playing:

Persona 3 Reload (PC)
Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy (PC)

@VancouverVelocityFan Like I stated, every 4 months is the more likely pattern. 120 days is essentially 4 months. And Nintendo has a Mario Kart 8 NA Open scheduled for the next two weekends. (7/22-7/24 & 7/29-7/31) If that's not an indication that Wave 2 will be announced and/or released within the week, I don't know what is.

@b1galbos89 yeah given the fact that the Splatoon 2 tournaments and the 7-Eleven ad didn’t mean anything this is the most likely indicator of a wave 2 reveal soon

It's nice that they are still supporting the game after all these years, but I think what Mario Kart really needs is more single player content. Even Mario Kart DS had Mission Mode, I don't get why they didn't build on this. I think a Story Mode with Open World Elements would be a great addition to the game, especially for people who don't get to play in multiplayer often.

@Grumblevolcano Argh! Why does this have to be this way?! Wave 2 and 3 coming out in August and September respectively is absolute nonsense! Argh! This waiting game sucks and it is killing us all!

It would be nice if they give us a date or month for wave 3 when they release wave 2...

Anti-Matter

For peoples who desperately want to play the next waves, I honestly don't invest my time to keep waiting for the incomplete DLC stuffs that will be complete by the end of year 2023.
I have no time to wait for incomplete things so I can continue my other games than waiting for nothing.
