@Matthew010 Yeah they totally missed the window for when that would have been relevant. I knew this game was probably cancelled about half a year ago, but some people found that to be an offensive suggestion for some reason. Now it seems like there is little doubt.
They completely finished all development on this game for the other platforms a long time ago, and it wasn't exactly the most well received game either. The fact that there hasn't been any news about it on the Switch since it was announced just seems to confirm it's vaporware status considering how Ubisoft still hasn't announced it's cancellation yet for some reason. I think it might be one of those games that just never gets officially cancelled.
@JayJ
Still remember this Ubisoft game from trailer last year ?
It said the game will be released on Fall 2018, but still no reminder from Ubisoft about that game.
The game will be sold with their Space Ship Amiibo like figurines.
And Goodness knows
The wicked's lives are lonely
Goodness knows
The wicked die alone...
@Matthew010 That would be an amazing idea. Honestly at this point I think they might as well just scrap Steep and release something better and more focused on just snowboarding.
@Anti-Matter Oh yeah, "No Man's Skylanders" lol. I forgot about that. I think that one has a better chance of happening since it's a new concept that hasn't been released yet.
@Matthew010 That would make me very happy. Like, so happy you don't even know. 1080 was easily one of my all time favorite N64 games, and also my favorite snowboarding game of all time. Since Nintendo can't seem to be bothered with making a new version of the game I figure they might as well let Ubisoft partner up with them again and make it. It would be great if they could also do the same with Wave Race.
I think we should use the Steep thread for this. If there was an option for me to move comments over, I would've done it, but there isn't unfortunately.
