How is there not already a thread for this excellent game?

Well I am going to start one then! I am about a little less than 1/3 of the way through the game, according to the in-game % (29%) and I am really having a blast with it!

I love that the main character is a strong, butt kicking mechanic girl! And the supporting cast is as interesting as quirky and sometimes annoying.

This is the style of retro-like game I actually love. It's more of how we think retro games looked, rather than how most actually looked. lol.

The difficulty is, at least so far, very comfortable. Not too easy or too hard. This game could have been a lot more punishing with checkpoints and for that, I am grateful.

This is a must play if you like Metroidvania/2D platformers.

Fantastic game indeed. I just got sidetracked with Dead Cells and Mario Kart 8, but I'll get back into it.

I put it on hard difficulty as I heard the game's length wasn't overly long, so I wanted to do all I could to draw it out. Hard isn't that bad.

@bixente Well I am not sure how the game calculates % but at about 10 hours, it says I am only 29% into the game. Maybe I am just really slow. XD Or maybe % is based not only on progress but collecting secrets.

I picked this game up today figuring I’ll take a little break from Dead Cells.I’ve seen a few reviews recommending it.

@Heavyarms55 I’m enjoying it so far I really like the art style and the variety in levels and I needed to take a break from Dead Cells and Lumines so I picked up this,The Messenger and Not A Hero.

so did we get a consensus on how long it takes to finish this game?
I'm interested in that physical copy, but I dislike buying physical games I can beat in a few hours time.
