We just discovered Zelda Breath of the Wild (playing on Nintendo Switch). I am literally stuck and cannot find a way to go anywhere. I am located East of Hyrule Field, about halfway to the edge of the map. And am northeast of Kakariko Village. I was up on a tall mountain and decided to glide down. I landed on a very steep mountain with slippery rocks. So, I am on a ledge on these slippery rocks. When I look up and in front of me, I can see a very tall bridge (?) that looks like it has pillars and blue panels (?) in between each pillar. At the top, it looks like blue lights at the top of each pillar. The bridge looks solid. No open area underneath. When I look right, it is just more slippery rocks. When I look left, it’s the same. Behind me is a large lake, surrounded by steep slippery rock mountains. If I try to glide out, I land in the water and die. If I try to climb towards the bridge, I keep slipping down, and cannot make it up. I literally cannot go anywhere. I am stuck. Any ideas? Please help.
The rocks are likely slippery because it’s raining. So I would either just wait for the rain to let down to start climbing again, or just teleport to a nearby shrine.

@JuJuBearBear You can fast travel out of the slippery mountains area via using the map. Fast travel to a shrine or unlocked tower of your choice. Plus, the rain in that region is part of the plot, which makes the journey to the zora a purposeful challenge, since you'll be forced to walk the trail up the zora river valley, which is guarded. If you beat the elephant divine beast, I think you'll see the conspicuously annoying rain will lessen.
I can say it's in your interest to go to the first devine beast/zora region.
(When you got to kakariko village, I believe the game directs you to two places, 1)zora region/first divine beast, 2)hateno village lab: the scientist girl there can upgrade your bombs, which is extremely helpful.)
