Topic: Help! Desperate mum trying to link 2 kids to ACNH/one Nintendo account.

Hi, we have 1 switch which is my daughters. She plays on animal crossing and we made a profile for my son so now he can play with a character,house etc (same island, they take it in turns) My daughter can visit other islands and dream but when my son tried it said the console is already linked to a Nintendo account (I set up a Nintendo account with my email when she got the switch) Several emails to and fro from nintendo😤......... eventually said I need to upgrade to a family membership which I have done today but when I tried to link sons profile person on ACNH it said ‘this Nintendo account is already being used on this console’ AGHHHH!!!!
ANY help would be greatly appreciated! My son just want to dream and visit people!!!!!!! Surly it can’t be that hard???

@Hannah79 Linking your son to NSO via a family membership invite shouldn't involve any specific game.

I opened a Nintendo account with MY personal email and I have my daughter and son on there as ‘family members’ already. So are you saying my son has to have an email account ? To link him to Amy account? He is only 4....
I thought I would be able to link his profile on the switch to my ‘Nintendo account’ as he is a ‘family member’ of mine and I am now also paying for a ‘family membership’ instead of ‘individual’ so he can visit other islands and dream 😩😳😕 am I completely off the ball with this? Uuuggggghhhhhh 😩
