Thought it deserved an official thread now that it's officially dated.

Definitely grabbing it at launch. About $6 AUD cheaper on the US eShop than the AU one so I should probably grab it from there but unless it has a simultaneous release I might just end up just spending the extra $6 to play it a little earlier.

It’s like a weird mix of Among Us and Your Turn To Die. I’m definitely interested, but I’m not 100% certain that I want it yet. I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on it though.

Just waiting for the inevitable physical release.

With English support, the Japanese version doesn't support English sadly.

So, I'm on my third loop now. Loops really are super quick, but, so far, the game is evolving and revealing a bunch of new mechanics and whatnot with each one. Not sure what to make of the game so far, except to say that I absolutely love the art.

Kinda wish I knew how to save the game, though.

Just bought it! I’m gonna start it after I eat supper.

@Ralizah From the How to Play section: "The game will save your data automatically when a day begins, when a discussion/voting session/cold sleep decision ends, and when a loop ends.'

I played for two hours or so today. About six loops in. It's interesting how every loop feels like it introduces something new. Hopefully that feeling doesn't go away any time soon. Will probably just play a loop a day now. Moving it to my Lite seems judicious, since there's almost no point in playing this on a TV.

@BenAV Oh, nice. Didn't see that. Thanks.

I kinda got mixed feeling right now. It’s similar to Your Turn To Die which is one of my favorite games ever, but it is super fast. Every loop seems to take almost no time whatsoever and I don’t know what to think. I do agree the art style is pretty unique and awesome looking!

@Blooper987 It's super fast at the start while the game is still introducing characters and roles but once you have the full roster of 15, it takes several rounds of voting to get through a loop (if you don't get killed or voted off early) and things get pretty interesting.

So I finished the game, definitely one of the very rare 10/10 games for me.
There might be some secrets I still haven't found, I'm still missing one ability, but I probably won't grind for it unless someone finds another ending.

I got the key and have been informed that no more crew members would be joining the ship, so I think I'm at the point now where the game is going to stop actively adding mechanics every playthrough.

I do like how the backstory is sort of subtly added through incidental bits of dialogue.

Still a bit confused on skills, though. So I just need to wait until exclamation points pop up on the map?

@SigmaNoire Nice. So there's, like, a definite end to the story in this game?

@Ralizah Yep, the story has an ending. I reached it a bit earlier myself. Really enjoyed the game.

About sixty loops in now, and boy, yeah, does the game feel different with a few skills under your belt. MUCH more tactical.

It seems like this gameplay loop should get old, but I keep coming back for another run.

Almost done with Gnosia now.

The game has done a better job feeding my hunger for a new Zero Escape game than Zero Time Dilemma ever did. It's all there: the engaging, diverse cast of characters; the strong sexual tension (although this game does a better job of it, as there's no sexual harassment like in VLR); the mind-bending overarching plot; the fascinating bits of larger worldbuilding; hell, even the main aspect of the gameplay, which involves forming alliances and/or tactically selling people out to achieve your goals, is reminiscent of VLR. It's a pity this game has caught on more.

That's not to say there aren't faults. Progressing in this game, even if you use a guide, would still involve a lot of RNG that leads to quite a bit of repetition and narrative wheel-spinning. And the early game, before you start learning skills, kinda sucks, as you're largely at the mercy of larger group dynamics. Things become far more tactical and interesting once you start jacking up your stats and learning skills.

But the good parts of this game are really, really good. I hope the developer's next game is set in this same universe.

edit: Just beat it. Important note for people: the game doesn't end when you hit the credits. There's a bit more to see.
