@Quarth
Little tips for FF VIII.
Make sure your Quistis have learned Blue Magic Degenerator (the item is Black Hole, extracted from Gesper card you got for the first time).
The skill is working on Almost every enemies except Grats, Vysages, Lefty, Righty, Cactuars, Tonberries, Esthar Soldier (Terminator) , UFO?, PuPu, and bosses (except Oilboyle) are immune to it.
When your Quistis HP is low or activate the Limit Break from FF VIII Remaster, use Degenerator quickly to get rid one enemy ASAP. 😁
Happy playing. 😀
@Dezzy Got him! Blinded him, then I let him have a taste of his own medicine by drawing and casting Demi on him. Lastly Zell finished him with a Limit Break. 👍
I have a question for anyone who might have played FF 15. Do you ever get the ability to play that stand by me cover in the intro while in your car like the other tracks you unlock throughout the game? AIso i just started my first real playthrough and i want to know is there any advice you'd give a first time player?
One thing about RPG's i always tend to worry about is permanent missables. I hate getting to a really hard boss and finding I'm woefully unprepared or i missed some important helpful item or weapon. Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks!
Ok rightey. No you can't play Stand by Me. I don't think it lets you play anything that's used in the main game. I guess the idea being that that would be like breaking the 4th wall too much. (music from other games counts as just 'music tracks' whereas music from the main game is supposed to be part of what's happening in some sense)
There are very few missables in the game. The vast majority of optional content in the game is part of the open-world section, which remains fully available until the end of the game. No areas become blocked off after you've been there, or anything like that.
The only important advice with FFXV is that you MUST play it with the DLC incorporated into the main game (which you have to do manually, the game doesn't insert the DLC for you, which it should have). The story was an unfinished mess at launch, but the gaps were largely filled in by the DLC that was released over the next 2 years.
Cruisin along in 7. Got off the boat, went to the beach town, got some stuff and im about to head West to the mountains. Doing pretty well thus far. Realized I missed the optional character but oh well.
As far as I'm aware, she should be in any forest, @NintendoByNature ... Just I got her in the 1st every time, so I can't confirm she is anywhere else if you missed her there I wouldn't bother getting her after that one fight where she is actually useful, myself, though, since that's the only time she's in my party
Why, what's your tactic .... ? I mean, you could get that skill from Midgar Zolom but it's easier to use Yuffie! It's the weird sea-snake thing that you can only hit with ranged weapons & so on?
Lols, you can get him as well, @NintendoByNature .... Quite a bit later in the game! If you're not sure exactly how, look it up I still don't really use him in my party but he's a lot less annoying than the other one
