So with how much I'm enjoying 7, I'm interested in grabbing another game in the series. The last few pages has me concerned to grab 8 lol. It sounds confusing and cumbersome. 7 hasn't been too confusing for me which i like. When I get too confused in game, I tend to drop it. Is 9 a little more user friendly than 8 and closer to the ease of 7?
@komodo182 is it fairly simple gameplay? I quickly got used to items, mechanics etc in 7 and that's a big reason why im enjoying it so much. 9 looks great from the screen shots and clips I've seen.
@NintendoByNature DarthNoctural gave a pretty good summary of it. There are lots of hidden side quest sytle gameplay, but you can beat the game without doing them. I normally do a playthrough every year or so.
Whenever people vote on the best FF game in the series, the top 4 are nearly always FF6, FF7, FF9 and FF10.
So given that 6 isn't on the Switch, you should go with either 9 or 10. Either is fine. 9 is maybe slightly better imo, but it's not a huge difference.
IX is pretty straightforwards, @NintendoByNature ..... Not exactly like VII but then VII had various things that were new to the series at the time If it's either that or VIII, get that! I like VIII & all but it's not much like any other FF in many ways, so it's more difficult
@DarthNocturnal@BruceCM@Dezzy@komodo182 thanks everyone. Ill probably be grabbing 9 before the sale ends. Which reminds me, when are the square games sale ending?
There is NO Multi Hits on FF IX.
Every attacks just only SINGLE attack.
Even Eternal Darkness from Ark is counted as 1 hit 9999 damage despite the animation showed 3 consecutive attacks.
Think it's tomorrow, @NintendoByNature .... Not sure why then & not the 31st, though They're bound to go on sale again in the not too distant future, if you miss it
