All I want is
-Zelda Breath of the wild sequel for christmas
And
-one of the following :Metroid prime 4 teaser, a new 2 d game or a remake ,prime trilogy

What we're going to get:
A full direct focusing only on splatoon3

Nintendo: The Legends of Zelda Breath of the Wild 2 and Super Mario Odyssey 2 (probably might save that for their next console.)
Square Enix: Re-Release of Wonder Project J and J2 & officially translated.
Capcom: Megami Meguri (unlikely)
Microsoft: Fable (unlikely), Halo Infinite, Viva Pinata 3 (unlikely) , Banjo Kazooie (unlikely), Conker 2 (unlikely)
Take-Two Interactive: Bully 2 (Rockstar will probably save whatever the next game they are working on with their own annoucement. but, let me dream darn it!),
Koch Media: Timesplitters ( PLEASE Deep Silver! i don't care if it's a remastered, a remake, or a Timesplitters 4. but please do something with the IP!)

For a game locked in for a 2022 release?

Too soon, much too soon.

I'm sure all we're going to get for Splatoon 3 is a brief trailer. Nintendo did a similar approach with Splatoon 2, where they lumped a Splatoon 2 trailer at the end of an ARMS Direct, and didn't show much else until their big Splatoon 2 Direct. I expect something similar here, although there might be a bit more exposure, given the game's 2022 release window.

Beyond that, you got your givens- Smash reveal, at least one (come on, Crash), some Zelda stuff (although I hope Nintendo doesn't lean too heavily into it). Mario Golf Super Rush will certainly be there, at least in Treehouse.

Other than the obvious stuff, it's largely up in the air. Might we get a 3D Kirby? Some Metroid related reveal? Dare I say an Odyssey 2 teaser?

We have very little idea what Nintendo will be showing aside from a few givens, and that's honestly what excites me.

My prediction of Nintendo's E3.

Doshin The Giant 2! OMG!
Animal Crossing Brie Larson DLC, you can have her as a visitor to your island plus a re-enactment of the Oscar winning Room!
Metroid Prime 4 will take heavy inspiration from Federation Force including for both gameplay and art style!
And that’s not all, it’s the Metroid port people are frothing about, Other M!
Balan for Smash!
There’s 30 minutes showcasing Style Savvy!
The exclusive Resident Evil is shown and it will be set as a direct sequel to 6 with none of the scary stuff from 7 and Village!
2020’s surprise hit gets a sequel, Clubhouse Games: 52!
Labo VR support is added to DOOM and Wolfenstein!
There’s one last Wii U port, Star Fox Zero and you need the Wii U Gamepad to play it on Switch!
Mother 3 finally comes to the West with nothing to worry about localizing/censoring issues as it’s still in Japanese!
Following the success of Pokken Tournament there's now a Pokemon-Mortal Kombat crossover!
Persona 5 is ported…to the Xbox!
Grezzo have been hard at work on another Zelda remake, It’s Link’s Crossbow Training HD! Happy 35th birthday!
The Microsoft Nintendo collaboration is revealed...it's Rare coming home with a Kinect Sports port!
One more thing...please understand BOTW 2 has been cancelled!

Square Enix - FF16 trailer (preferably with more environments and characters), new Tomb Raider

To be honest though, I'll be incredibly happy with just seeing BotW2 and Halo Infinite. Both of which seem 90% guaranteed.

In all seriousness I think it’s actually a great idea. I’d love to actually play those games especially Zeldas Adventure so you can actually play as Zelda!

I would just like Nintendo to show us a full trailer and release date for Breath of the Wild 2, Splatoon 3 trailer, and at least a little trailer of Metroid 4 as we have waited more than long enough.

I think the surprise will be a new IP as I think Nintendo feel they need a new one of them, and arms didn't work so they must have made a new one to try by now.

As far as the other companies I personally don't care if they don't have anything for the switch, I don't want to play the inferior version of their games on my switch. Unless of course Rockstar wants to do something for switch, then I might be tempted.

Final Fantasy XVI. Really need to see more from Square on that because I dug the reveal

I'd love to see FF7R come to switch along with RE2 and 3 Remakes. A new DKC game along with a metroid game of any kind. And most importantly, more zelda news. Be it botw2 or a new 2d game in development. Maybe even a double of TP and WW would be great too.

I know Nintendo will have trailers for what has already been announced at E3 as well, like the Pokemon games, Mario Golf and Splatoon 3, but I would rather see those trailers shadow dropped like game reveals were last year and an E3 Direct be generally for content not seen yet.

@I-U If I didn’t just make my list, I’d steal this and pass it off as my own, because this is more or less what I’d like from E3 as well... especially the final Smash fighters, all things must come to an end and the hype train is losing steam.
