@ThatNyteDaez If you mean purchasable, I read it becomes available on Friday. If you mean auto-incude, then no.

@ThatNyteDaez I don't know in the West, but in Japan the DLC is a separate purchase. (Thought I don't know if that DLC is new or what's already available on the other platforms)

@kobashi100 Obviously they didn't lie. And if they did, then where are all the games then? I've been to three stores and none of them have the game and online retailers are charging extra for a copy, so...

@maruse It's all separate. Switch does have the XV1 story in the game as well, but I don't know if this goes for the other versions. I'm just enjoying my time playing it, and am happy enough that it's not multiplayer region-locked as I first feared. (aka I can play with my international friends that aren't in Europe, thank fire for that)

@UmniKnight Nice you're having fun with it... It seems that's going to be a while before I can play it myself... And it's great to know that is not region-locked!

If you're looking to play with someone from Japan (with all the hassle that comes with wildly different time zones) add me to your Switch (and 3DS if you've got one) friend list! It'll be nice to have someone to fight along with.

@maruse I'll put my Switch code in my signature again, and sounds like a plan! I'm not 100% sure if it isn't locked, but I saw Japanese avatar characters appear during my missions, and I figured those wouldn't appear if it WAS locked.

My bad, you guys were right. All the DLC is additional. Looks to be about 4 DLC packs. Admittedly they're fairly cheap, but still. That's not what I was expecting.

I probably won't get them - I didn't get the DLC for the first game, and I see little reason to do the same here. Lol.

Never take anything I say seriously. S'all you buddy. ;)
Mainly play on my Switch but I have 3DS, Wii U and PS4 as well.
Fave game series include: Pokemon, Smash Bros, Splatoon, Disgaea, Bayonetta, Dragons Dogma, Phantasy Star & Arena of Valor.

Just started playing today (kinda suprised this thread was buried as much as it was)!

So, in general, which stats should I focus my experience points on (playing as a male Sayain)?

Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)

Axis

@RR529 I would focus as for attacks on Ki and Ki Blast Supers. You would want around 70-100 as male saiyan (or even higher if you use them more often) for ki blast supers and at least 84 for Ki. You would also generally want high basic attack attribute points

@Axis, thanks for the tips!

Anyhow, I'm a couple hours in now, but I'm still in the phase of getting used to it. There are definitely things I like about it, but other stuff I'm not so sure of.

@RR529, cool, glad you're having fun with the game. Theres a Xenoverse 2 Switch community discord that i'm in and if you want to join it, let me know

How urgent is it for you to go to Guru's House every time it's under attack?

I remember the game saying something about putting it off too long will cause things to deteriorate, but as a side quest, it seems awfully needy (seems like I can't take two steps without it being under attack again). I'm still quite early on, my last story quest had me fighting Ginyu Trunks, yet my last Guru House mission was already a full seven star difficulty level...

@RR529 If it's the same as the PS4 version, which I think it is, it isn't obligtory and it doesn't have any consequence that I noticed. Let the fat slug man deal with things himself for a change and enjoy the game

@RR529 nothing happens if you ignore it, however if you keep progressing through gurus house then you will eventually get more dragon ball wish options, level cap increases, aswell as a attribute point cap increase.

^Okay. Yeah, I already got an attribute point cap increase from it. I'll probably stop neglecting him since I've levelled by quite a wide margin since I last took on one of his quests.

Also, how do you unlock Super Sayain? I've played through the game's take on the Cell Saga, with the Meta Cooler invasion, and yet still don't have it. Is it a Dragon Ball wish?

@RR529 It'll come up in the story eventually. Can't miss it

Just finished up the main story (though I think there'll be some sort of post game story, as I'm yet to collect all those evil time eggs, and there's still largs chuncks of the character roster locked)!

Overall it was a really fun time, with my only big complaint being that I don't care for the battle mode, as it seems like it's 100 times more difficult than anything else in the game, and for no really good reason as it's only purpose is to let players mess around with their favorite characters. I get my @$$ kicked no matter who I play as in that mode, lol.
