I was referring to the people who will watch the video and still find something to nitpick about with regards to the Switch version. However based on your previous comments of "it looks bad", because you are colourblind, perhaps reserve judgement until footage is posted that you can see properly. It's a bit like the Mario odyssey reviews of by some people who haven't even played the game.

Anyway 24 hours people. Mine has dispatched already, should be here tomorrow

I still want to see reviews on performance. Visually it looks on point but performance still worries me. I will send back to Amazon if it performance is lacking.

Fingers crossed it gets good reviews.

@Hyrule Hey, some of the Mario Odyssey reviews were funny. I especially liked the Metacritic one which said Mario Odyssey was pretty much a Sonic Adventure clone.

Argh, you have to download the update/multiplayer mode to play it even if you just want the single player.

Me having to download it.

@jump But does it force you to use a microSD or can you use your base 32GB internal memory?

I read someone on Reddit say you can skip it but it always prompts you.

Embargo down, so :

• the framerate is fine, it tanked once and quickly recovered
• it's very blurry in portable mode and never really kicks 720p except in some precise instances. It's still good looking. Docked is much crisper.
• multiplayer works but it's not very fun
• it's probably the most impressive looking game on the console

Main con : the Joy-Con's sticks are too small and it was really weird at first. It's decent in portable mode but I recommend using the pro controller.

Blurry portable mode was the one thing I hoped wouldn't exist. If anything I expected portable mode to be clearer than docked. May hold off on this one longer than I anticipated

Honestly the review has been having me umming and erring. I really would like to have played a demo before dropping forty squids.

I want to support 3rd parties but they obviously have to offer products I feel satisfied with as I can suffer through serious buyers remorse.

If you can it's a hidden trick as simply saying no to the update doesn't work.

It went to my SD card however my base is almost full so I'm not sure what is default.

From I've played so far it's lovely (in portable mode) although I do wish it had Splatoon motion controls on it.

@Grumblevolcano I think I saw that one and for the first time I realised that there probably is a substance in this world that can alter reality in some people.

I thought everything went to SD card by default once you put SD card inside.

When I download from eshop I don't ever remember getting a choice on destination of install.

I'm sure somebody mentioned it somewhere, but I missed it, so can anyone tell me how big the MP download is?

I can't remember who it was but someone kept complaining the game looks rubbish as they are colour blind, it turns out there's a colour blind option in the game.

I heard turning off the internet allows you to play it as normal. Obviously I will be downloading the update whenever I pick up mine but it is nice to know the port doesn't require this to work

The reviews and footage have convinced me to go digital on this. Doom on a portable is such a ridiculously enticing prospect I may as well have maximum convenience.

@BLP_Software wasn’t complaining, he’s legit colourblind so couldn’t see what was going on. But that’s great news, somebody should make a video so he can see what it looks like if he hasn’t bought it.
