Topic: Does anyone think the Nintendo Switch is boring?

Is the Switch boring? I dunno. I'd say they're about as fun as a waverunner.

Why did you post this here? No, most people here probably don't think that. Maybe because this is Nintendo Life.

Well, as soon as you turn on the Nintendo Switch. The menus has game titles in 1x1, and menu icons underneath. I usually watch video game review videos before purchasing it.

Because this is a Nintendo Switch topic.

I do find it weird every few weeks someone on here feels the need to create a thread to complain about The Switch when that's time that can be spent actually playing one of the dozens (probably hundreds at this point) good games on it.

Sorry what I meant to say is...no folders on the Switch so it's is the worst consoles ever and Zelda has no story and Mario Kart 8 is unplayable mess as it's not 9 and there's no Call Of Duty and there's no Madden and there's no Metroid and there's no Doshin The Giant and why can't I buy Super Mario Bros 3 as it should be free without having an online subscription!!!!

Yes, and it also ridiculous how people are willing to jump in on defending the Switch no matter what.
Instead of admitting the facts that Switch has it's set of problems, gaps and shortcomings they defend it like it's some kind of second coming or holy grail, lol.
Like come on, no platform is perfect, let's be honest here. So why all the fanboyism? Why all the cheap jokes?

@anynamereally You can acknowledge the Switch's shortcomings and disagree with your inane take. The two aren't mutually exclusive.

You're more than entitled to believe that the Switch is boring. That's your prerogative. You are however, going to experience pushback on this fact on a website entirely dedicated to Nintendo. That's just common sense.

To come on to a forum dedicated to the Nintendo Switch and then claim that the users disagreeing with you is "Fanboyism" is both childish and arrogant. Grow up a little bit

Why is this even a thing? I was playing my Switch when I stumbled on this topic... I should have stayed on the Switch!

@anynamereally Well, I think bc the fact that this is a nintendo site, people are on here bc?????? Ya the switch or any other console of the sort, and you can freely think that the switch is boring, And I really don't think anyone is defending "Defending" it, more or less making fun of the thread.

Its things like this to, people will tell you, "Hey if you hate nintendo so much, why are you on a nintendo site" Because you can mainly have the most amount of hate for thing's you love, but hey, to each is his own.

Also, if you think every one here is just defending nintendo, just ask them what they hate about the switch and I bet you they can list you a whole (Well list) List of things, on top of that, this thread just plain out say's, the switch is boring, with no "Real " Reason behind it. (But this is just me)

Unfortunately yes, I do. Think this is my least played Nintendo system yet and I’ve owned them all. Love the majority of first party games but take Mario away and I don’t think I’d buy another system. Current gen my series x is probably getting the most play time as apart from loving the dual sense the ps5 isn’t impressing me that much so far...

MK8D I got about 50-55 hours on. Not bad, but I have been playing this since May 2014. It’s time for an update here. I think Madden will eventually come in some form. The Switch will be closing in on 100 million units soon. EA would be foolish to pass on this. Granted, nothing would surprise me with them. Add these two and the Switch goes from a solid be to an A or even A plus. Should Nintendo skip the Switch for its own proper MK, I can’t give this system an A.

@rockodoodle If this donkey Kong Rumor turns out to be true, then we will probably see MK9 on the switch, I mean hell, were getting splatoon 3.

@anynamereally Yeah, sure, EVERY system, be it console or handheld, has its cons and shortcomings, but if that's all you're focusing on, then first off: you've got a decidedly negative mindset, and secondly: if you bought a Switch and subsequently complain about literally EVERYTHING it has to offer, then you're a complete and utter moron for not having done some research first, before investing your hard-earned money into something you ultimately ended up being so disappointed in. No if's, and's or but's about that.

And that also has NOTHING to do with being a fanboy of whatever system you happen to like, it's just common sense to first think and THEN act upon it by buying whatever you've thoroughly thought over, so as NOT to become so disappointed/disillusioned by your purchase...
