Yes please! I'm such a big fan of the PS2, it's great to see so many games being released on the Switch: Onimusha, Katamari Damacy, FF10, FF12, Disgaea, etc Keep 'em coming!

Looking forward to trying it out! My favorite 3rd party content on Switch so far have been past gen remasters since they run beautifully in both modes & I missed a lot of them the first time around.

I put Okami (originally PS2) & YS VIII (originally Vita) at the top of the list so far, but Shining Resonance Refrain (originally PS3) was also pretty decent as well, and I'm really digging Onimusha (originally PS2), which I'm currently playing. I think the FFX/X-2 collection (PS2) will be my next in that regard.

Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)

Will be buying. I think it's fair to assume that there will be a Japan-only physical collectors edition that'll support English. It feels scummy though, the HD collection is ony 12GB on PS4. So why is the Switch not getting the entire HD collection and on a 16GB cartridge? Probably greed, plain and simple.

So it's official that this will be a digital-only release. Which is a bummer, many of Capcom's recent releases were released physically in Japan at the very least. Oh well, that's $20 I'll be saving I suppose.

Did I hit a nerve with the greed comment? In any case, apparently the HD collection didn't sell well enough for it to be ported to the Switch. On the bright side, at least this unofficially confirms that there's little chance of DMC5 being ported to the Switch, that'll save me another $60 I would've spent. Now I can confidently wait for DMC5 to go on steep discount over on PS4.

@Magician did they say it's going to be $20?

Not specifically, no. I only assume it'll be $20-$30 once it arrives on the eShop. I'll be waiting for a steep discount.

Is it the HD trilogy or just the first game?

I'm really looking forward to this. I wish they had a set up ala Res Evil though, releasing the first three games, not just one. I also wish they'd done that with Onimusha. I loved replaying that and it's like they gave me a taste then cut off the supply. Not that I'm a Onimusha junkie or anything....honest.

@Agriculture 1st game

The HD trilogy cost 18 euros on PS4, so the choice is easy. If they had released the whole HD trilogy physically on Switch I would have gladly paid 50 euros.

@Agriculture I hear you my friend. I've never played it so if it's $20-30 I'll probably grab it to see what all the fuss is about
