What are the chances of this game being ported to the Switch?

There was s rumor a while back, hunting that work was under way on the port, but given that it's been nigh on 2 years since then... It doesn't look promising. ☹️

Would you like to see DS2 and DS3 ported over? They are amongst the best Trilogy of games ever created, it would be a shame not to have the family on the Switch.

Given that DS2 is pretty universally regarded as the worst in the series, it seems unlikely to me.

If they do anything else, my guess is that they'll do a remaster of Demon's Souls which will get a Switch port. That would be welcome indeed!

I for one was never interested in any of the dark souls games when they came out but and a massive but since I got a switch and play DS:R I fell in love with it, I would love to see the others on here it would be AMAZING!!!! Cuz then I could take it with me when I go on holiday ^^

Maybe yes actually. It was a weird game. It was published by Sony in Japan, but by Atlas and Namco in US and Europe.

Well I hope they all come to the switch bring on ya demon souls and you ds2 and 3 ^^

Yeah, Sony owns the rights to Demon Souls.

Word round the campfire is that Bluepoint Games (developer of Shadow of the Colossus Remastered) is working on a Demon Souls remaster for PS5.

Hmmmm well I still hope for ds2 and 3 on the switch I feel like I'm cheating on my switch just so I can play ds3 lolz

I want Dark Souls 2 on Switch so badly. I don't know if 3 is possible for the system to handle, but at least DS2 would be since it was on last-gen hardware.
I would buy DS2 and DS3 day one if they came to Switch.

Well tbh I'v been playing 3 on ps4 and at times I feel it could with some miner rendering or only in docked mode seeing as warframe can handle it (even in hand held) ^^

DS3 is pretty graphically advanced. Some of those environments are absolutely huge. I doubt they'd think it's worth the time and money needed to optimize and port.
