@VoidofLight That’s what I did too! Haha But his minions were immune to fire and Elvis, who had my thief abilities, was equipped with a fire elemental sword. So I had to finish the fight with Adelle and Seth.

@shining_nexus I effectively just used Berserker Seth and Thief Adelle, due to Elvis being my Red mage and Black mage, and not really hitting all that hard with his attacks.

@shining_nexus (SPOILERS OF THE FIRST THREE BOSSES) Good that you manage to beat him without dying. I had to use the Petunias of the forest, because I figured on my 2nd boss battle that all of these bosses are weak against the light. So I obtained like 10 of them to fight against Roddy, and 36 to fight Galahad because I more than once had problems with those painting monsters. (END OF THREE BOSSES SPOILERS)

(MORE SPOILER FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN'T STARTED OR HAVEN'T ADVANCE ENOUGH IN CHAPTER 2) Folie really made this chapter my favorite so far (END OF SPOILER). Of course, I like all the three chapters I have cleared. But this one is the best so far. I have taken it slow in Chapter 4, since I wanted level up some jobs and obtain items in sub quests.

For me, I'm trying to get the level 6 skill of the Archer asterisk on everyone, so that I can stop counters, since they're starting to get annoying.

@VoidofLight Another thing you should know (SKILLS SPOILER) is that it can also evade ailments effects like paralyzing pollen, and some status effects like acid as long as they aren't from magic attacks (END OF SPOILER SKILL).

Should be very close to fight Adam now... Do anyone know if there is extra content after credits?

P.s: obviously I don't know if Adam is the final boss just that so far he has been the main antagonist

BruceCM

Well, you'll soon find out something, @Balta666 .... But yeah, there's extra after credits when you do get to those

@BruceCM thanks. I assumed so as I am only missing two asterisks and I am pretty sure whom are they coming from...

Anyone finish all the endings yet? I did the first two, now I am just battling to unlock level 15 for the asterisks.

Just so everyone knows, you can do spoiler tags with (spoiler)write your text here(/spoiler) just replace () with []. Like this: B n' D is awesome. You can also click quote on any message with spoiler tags or any other special functions to see how it's done. Thought I'd share this piece of information because this place seems to be a minefield right now and I'm way behind everyone else. I just obtained the water crystal and learned HM01.

VoidofLight

@Late Yeah. I get a few people here, since they said the spoiler tags don't work on their device, but it is kind of dangerous, like the person posting the stuff about the endings to the game, when I've yet to even get past the third chapter.

The best thing would be if the reply box had an actual button to do spoilers, like in a few other forums I've been to ..... That makes it much easier generally & you wouldn't have the problem of a phone keyboard that might not have square brackets available!

CHAPTER 2 SPOILIES

Petunias for the Beast Tamer job? That’s a good idea and would have been so useful in my fight! One of the things I don’t like about capturing monsters is that they don’t have a clear description of what each monster does. It’s not that big of a deal, but using them to find out what they do is a little irksome.

Hopefully there’s more of Folie (from the looks of her last scene, there probably is). She’s kinda nuts, even though it’s hard to believe her “tragic” backstory could cause her that much grief to drive her to massacre a lot of innocent people. But then again, maybe it was the asterisk (or that mysterious lady) that made her mad, just like Castor before her.

That Pictomancer job looks really good too, particularly the ability that reduces 1 BP cost for sub jobs. That should effectively make Pressure Point have no cost. That’s pretty rad. The final Monk ability called Focus Blast really helped me with the fight with Folie as well. It costs 99 MP, does a ton of damage, and randomly chooses a stat to lower. I’m also thinking of combining it with MP Saver.

shining_nexus

VoidofLight

@shining_nexus I mean, it's not that hard to believe she'd do that, since her whole backstory was that she's sociopathic and looks upon others as smaller than she is.

"It is fate. Many have tried, yet none have ever managed to escape it's flow."

shining_nexus

@VoidofLight I guess so. Simply slapping the disorder on someone to justify their murderous actions just seems unimaginative to me, but yeah, that does make it believable.

shining_nexus

VoidofLight

@shining_nexus I mean the reason I think she was a sociopath wasn't because of her killing people, but more because nothing really made her happy at all until she got the asterisk, and she thought herself as higher than everyone else, but it could just be that she was just psychotic in general.

"It is fate. Many have tried, yet none have ever managed to escape it's flow."

shining_nexus

@VoidofLight I think she may have been very lonely and found comfort in her art, but the asterisk (or the mysterious lady) amplifies their grief so much that it drives them nuts. Just look at Castor... I honestly thought he was a good brother, son and friend from what Gloria said about him, but went ape ***** as soon as he went berserker mode.

shining_nexus

VoidofLight

@shining_nexus True. It could've been how asterisks work if given to those who have the initial drive or feeling of doing such things. Either that or some people become lunatics due to growing power hungry due to said Asterisks. Perhaps it's also the greed of the crystals themselves, or the Crystals making them do this, since the ones who are totally insane have the crystals in their possession.

"It is fate. Many have tried, yet none have ever managed to escape it's flow."

shining_nexus

@Late BnD is so good. I’m still trying to figure out how to make more interesting decks that synergies well together, but I’ll probably need more cards. Right now I have two decks that just simply strengthens different types of monsters, but has been effective so far.

@shining_nexus I'm trying to figure out if I should pass up on the Gambler asterisk, since I'm not too great at the card game.

"It is fate. Many have tried, yet none have ever managed to escape it's flow."

shining_nexus

@VoidofLight Honestly, I don’t really like the Gambler job. Too much RNG for me (it’s better when mastered though). It does have some interesting abilities that may synergies well with other jobs or help with getting money faster, but it’s definitely not on my priority list of jobs to master.
