Just got my hands on the Japan-exclusive physical release for version 2.0. Although I bought the CE a while ago, I held off on playing it until the complete version was in my hands. The older version will be a gift to a friend. I look forward to firing this up after dinner tonight.
Edit: I failed to realize that the content update is not baked into the cartridge. Instead this copy of the game comes with version 2.0 as a DLC code. So much disappointment, in both myself for not reading the product description and in this copy of the game not having the DLC on the cartridge.

Big fan of this game, I haven’t bitten on the 2.0 dlc yet as I was hoping that they would include an arcade mode or something. More story mode is great I guess but I ended up skipping through most of the story to just get to the (infrequent) action. I like VNs but when I switch on a fighting game I’m up for some biffo, not reading.
I might go purchase the new characters anyway. Got new Samurai Shodown the other day and liked it at first, but tbh think this is more fun.
Shame online is so barren - I end up playing single player VS which gets a bit old.
