Topic: Bayonetta eShop chart positions are bizarre.

So in the U.K Bayonetta 1 is top and 2 isn’t even in the top 15, which makes sense as everyone has to download Bayonetta whether you buy both digitall or buy Bayo 2on cart and as a lot will have bought Bayonetta 2 on cart Bayo 1 being miles ahead makes perfect sense.

In Japan however, it’s Bayo 1 in 3rd and Bayo 2 in 10th. So you may think, more people must’ve downloaded both as opposed to just buying 2 on cart and downloading 1, but Japan is the place that got them both on cart, so Japan so surely be the eShop where they’re a place apart, but it’s not.

Because in the U.S, they’re 3 and 4 respectively. Despite the U.S who like the U.K also got Bayo 1 as an enforced downloadable game.

I say again, it’s bizarre.

IIRC Japan only got them both on cart in the Climax Special Edition. The first game is not sold by itself outside of that special edition.

So it makes sense that people are downloading the first game (since the Climax Special Edition is very expensive) while buying the second game physically.
