I enjoy this series. If ever a series of jrpgs could be considered cozy, Atelier would be the comparable measurement. Craft to progress, progress to craft more. It's a really good gameplay loop. And seeing this entry shift to action combat...is giving me Ys vibes, which is a very good thing.

The Atelier series caught me off guard. I hadn't played any of the games until the first Ryza, and I was instantly hooked. It's one of my favorite RPG series now. I just get really into gathering and synthesis, working out an item or weapon that does whatever I want it to do.
With Atelier Yumia, I'm pretty excited to see this games alchemy system and what synthesis effects we'll have. Though some may not be a fan of a more action based Atelier game, I'm looking forward to seeing how different alchemy traits could effect gameplay during battle.
