Sweet, I guess I'll keep an eye on this, then. Not that I wouldn't utilize the motion controls, but I needed the traditional option for longer sessions. I'm a lightweight, man...
Man, I was skeptical at first when they unveiled ARMS, but I must say this game has me excited. It should be a launch title, in my opinion, but it's probably going to be my first Switch game anyway (depends on if I get it launch day or a month or two after).
At first I wasn't sure what to think, but after watching some gameplay I'm convinced this is going to be the next Splatoon. Nintendo is on a roll with their new IP
Psalms 22:16 (1,000 yrs before Christ)
They pierced My hands and feet
Isaiah 53:5 (700 yrs before Christ)
He was pierced for our transgressions
Yeah, it does look promising, but now I want to know more; character roster size? single-player mode? story/tournament? other modes in general? It feels like we still need another Direct to cover the games that were shown during the event.

That's what the Treehouse is for but they spent so much time juet explaining the concept and trying to reassure people it's actually a fun game.
@jump Well, it's obvious that this is just an early demo, only a part of the game and they weren't going to talk about the stuff that's not in the demo anyway, but a glimpse of what else is in there would be neat.
I think the music works really well with the game, instead of justing matching it to the graphics they've matched it to the gameplay and I could easily see it adopted to sports events.
Something odd I've noticed about the characters is that they actually don't have regular arms at all... the "springs" are actually a part of their body (except maybe the girl in the mech), and they can be swapped.
Hopefully it has single-player content. If so, hopefully you can play it comfortly in table-top mode (or there are also some regular controls). Because using the dock is not a option for me, since my tv doesn't have a HDMi port.

They've said it works with a "normal button set up" already.
@Henmii Depends on what kind of TV you have, probably an old one since it hasn't an HDMI port. RCA, SCART? You can find various HDMI to [insert what you're looking for] cables online. They're not expensive, around $/€5-20.
