I mean errors in general, they're starting to pop up for me, and I never encountered one before. The first one was a week or so ago with MHXX, I got to high rank Nakarkos and started the quest. Everything was fine at the start, but the moment I jumped down into his area, I got the message instead of the loading screen. I had to restart the system.
The second time was a few moments ago today, I was already turning off my system anyways, so whatever. But it happened when I closed Pinball FX3...Anyone else getting these more often recently?

What error code are you getting? I’ve been getting a random error for a long time now (error code: 2162-0002). It happens exclusively when I wake up the docked console from sleep mode. After Googling for a bit, I think it has something to do with wifi, although my dock is hardwired.
A reset fixes it, but it has happened enough times that I am thinking about sending it in to Nintendo, but I am petrified of losing my saves (BotW: 200+ hours, Xenoblade: 160+, Odyssey: 80+, Mario+Rabbids: 40+ etc).
I didn't get either codes, wasn't really thinking about it. If it pops up again I'll grab the code, I was just wondering if anyone has been getting random ones recently. I never had any errors until now, and I've been playing MHXX since it released.

I've had the odd error since buying the Switch, mostly when trying to load videos or visit the shop... I think they're likely wi-fi related. If your error has occured in loading screens both times it's possibly an issue to do with accessing data... is this a downloaded game? Might be it took a little too long to find the next part of the game.

Switch FC: SW-4146-5915-6308 "Friendship is rare, hand me that shotgun buddy, hand me that chair."
I only got errors from Xenoblade Chronicles 2. One time trying to open the pause menu and one time quick traveling. Everything went black only music playing. After a minute or two I get an error and I have to restart the console. Lost several hours because of this. I'm saving the game like crazy now. :') Why this game this large has no autosave funktion like BotW is beyond me.
I guess the game just crashed though. Don't think it has something to do with the console itself. Only ever happened with XC2.
I have been getting a few errors from the eshop, but the most recent one was that my switch blackscreen on me when trying to start it up from sleep mode in the dock three time already that I got this error so I had to hold down the power button on the console to hard reset the console. Hopefully Nintendo will fix these errors soon.
I've not noticed a rise in the amount of errors. I've had a couple of times where I've had to hold down the power button, but it doesn't seem remarkable considering how long I've had the console and how much use it's had.
@Curlynob I have only owned my Switch since November and haven't really used it that much yet but have been getting error's in the eshop and errors from video's in the eshop, and then I have already had the Black Screen error 3 times already where you have to hold down the power button.
@mowerdude Sorry to hear that. I've had my Switch since June last year, and I can honestly say that I could count the amount of crashes I've had on two fingers. I haven't played the games you're playing, but I have played most of the system's big hitters.
Sorry for reviving a dead thread, but I think people would get mad either way if I do this or make a new thread. Anyways, I was playing Star Wars Republic Commando when I got an error Ive never seen before. Error Code: 2107-0401 It prompted me to restart the console. I've never had and error that wanted me to restart the console. Anyone know what this error means and if there's something I should do about it? I haven't gotten it again after the first time. Thanks!
@pilot plug the error code into nintendo support's search bar, and it usually can tell you want it means. If you can't find it, then asking nintendo directly is your only option.
