As a RPG lover do you know of any good RPGS? Give em a 1-10 rating if they’re particularly good and I might check em out.

@Greatluigi Depends on platform, but I've been having fun with Nier Replicant lately. It's an M rated game though, and I haven't beaten it.

@Anti-Matter I actually have that game both on 3DS and switch. Really fun.

There are many, many RPGs especially on the Switch, it's seriously one of the most RPG heavy systems out there. There's two series I was interested in but never had the chance to pick up yet; Trails of Cold Steel and Ys. Both are long running franchises and niche, but definitely have a strong following.

I wish I could recommend the classic CRPGs here as well (Pillars of Eternity, Baldurs Gate, Icewind Dale) but the ports are bad quality from what I heard. The upcoming Shadowrun trilogy is worth keeping your eye on — those games are excellent.

Dark Souls is a must buy action RPG if you haven't done so already. One of the more replayable games out there with many ways to build a unique character and has some Metroidvania aspects to it. Would also, of course, strongly recomment Nintendo's own RPG — Fire Emblem: Three Houses. Seriously, hundreds of hours will be gone forever but I assume everybody interested already owns it.

I myself have too many RPGs to replay and to still be played. Not every RPG is everyone's tastes. One has to use YT and see the many gameplays of RPG to decide is this my RPG that I would play.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. Not the greatest story and quests get repetitive, but may contain the best combat any RPG has ever had. You have a lot of options for how you want your character to play, and can respect them at any time. One of only a handful of RPGs I've actually finished.
I heard the Switch ports weren't great at launch, but if they got patched I can vouch they are stellar. Great stories, and a unique combat system that is a lot of fun. Technically turn based, but everyone's actions play out together in real time. For example, a creature may be about to attack you, but if your turn comes up and you pick a quick attack, you may interrupt theirs. Again part of my handful of RPGs I've actually completed.

I'd really recommend Xenoblade, Fire Emblem Three Houses, Dragon Quest XI, The Witcher 3, Ys VIII, and Monster Hunter Stories 2. I would also recommend NEO: The World Ends With You but I think people's experience with this one would be much better if they play the original first.

Add me on switch if you like Xenoblade :)

Huge witcher 3 fan here. I haven't played the switch version, but over 700 hours on my ps4. If you like turn based rpgs for the switch, I suggest bravely default 2.

Valkyria Chronicles is also good, I don’t think anyone mentioned that one.

Bravely Default 2 for a pretty classic JRPG experience

Bravely Default 2 is my favorite on the Switch but some close runner ups would be Dragon Quest XI, Xenoblade Chronicles 1 and 2, and Kingdoms of Amalur Re-Reckoning. Some ones to keep an eye on that are coming out later: Triangle Strategy and Shin Megami Tensei V

I haven't played that much into it but Fire Emblem Three Houses is pretty awesome.
