I love this game so much. Put hundreds of hours into it. But at this point I'm just kind of out of things to do. I could redesign my island, again. If I really wanted to. But I have more bells than I could ever spend, and just getting some new items isn't that interesting anymore.

I would love to do more with this title. But I need a major expansion to warrant it at this point. Otherwise I feel like I've just done all there really is to do, minus hunting down some art and collecting literally every piece of furniture in the game.

There are things they could add that would be add hundreds more hours of play. But I doubt we'll see them. It seems like Nintendo is winding down with the updates now.

I really hope there's a major update at the end of this month which adds all the missing content that they stripped out of the game. I really want to love this game, and there's so many things they did to actually improve the series.. yet they took a couple of steps back while doing so. I just want more shop upgrades, series staples like gyroids back, villagers actually visiting your house, etc. What gets me is that there's a lot of this stuff being found in the code as data, and yet they're waiting to actually release it..

I actually considered going back to play New Leaf, while I wait for New Horizons to become a fully complete game, and then restarting my town in New Horizons once the game either finished updating completely, or added back a lot of the stuff missing from the other games.

I do wish we had gyroids in this one as well. Brewster’s café would be an awesome addition as well... Thoroughly enjoyed that in NL.

@BrittGOAL14 I mean, they found it in the code when the game first launched, so it's there.. it's just that there hasn't been an update to activate it yet.

@Anti-Matter I'll try to remember to send you one next time I hop on. I'm not worried about hunting the stuff from Redd. I'll get it or I wont. Not a big deal.

@BrittGOAL14 Yeah.. hopefully. Truthfully, I dropped the game after the first 2 months, and after the December update, I stopped bothering to check the updates out. I just wish that they at least had the basics in the game before trying to make it a live service..

Am I the only person who hated other villagers visiting my house and am glad it's gone? I would always be like "I have one quick thing to do in my house" and a random villager would be like "Nope, I'm coming in and you can't stop me. Hahaha. Now you either have to wait around or be a complete jerk. Take your pick." And I never got the appeal of Brewster's cafe, either. I almost never went there. I do miss gyroids, though, and want them back.

I'm wondering if there will even be an anniversary update for the game...Nintendo hasn't even said a word about that. The last thing they mentioned in regards to the game was the Mario items.

That will be on Saturday 20 March 2021 for 1st Anniversary of ACNH.
I wish there are some mini games on ACNH, perhaps part time job not only working at Brewster cafe.

@Anti-Matter I know that, the thing is that we have no clue if Nintendo's even planning an update of some kind for AC:NH's 1st anniversary. They like to be really secretive with everything they're making. But I do agree, minigames and Brewster's Cafe would be great additions to the game. I previously stated that I had an idea for NH where you'd visit and explore a theme park.

@Xyphon22 It's not gone. It's literally mentioned in the game's code, it's just they're waiting to put it into another update in the future, despite the feature already being ready. Not to mention, I personally miss it since Villagers really give you no reason to interact with them in this game, unlike in the past games. The cafe and gyroids offer you stuff to do and more of a challenge with fossils, so that you don't get them all too fast.

Redd seems to be showing up a bit more often for me, and yet I still get the same artwork constantly! 😭 I wouldn't mind if it was the cool works of art or statues, but nope. Always the famous painting and academic painting. Why does he hate me so!? Im only missing like 3 or 4 pieces I think, too, which is making it even more excruciating!!!! I don't feel like one year into the game, I should still be chasing artwork 😔
