I have literally played this game for at least a couple of minutes every day since launch, and I think I am getting frustrated and mad at it for the first time. Am I the only one not getting Celeste anymore? In the past month (by which I mean literal 30-31 days, not December), I have seen shooting stars to make wishes 4 times. Twice was just one set of five stars, so that happens randomly. But one of them was an actual meteor shower announced by Isabelle, and last night I played for about 1.5 hours looking for balloons and found 3 sets (15 stars total). That many shouldn't be random. I have seen Celeste zero times. I searched my island 4-5 times last night (and on the night of the meteor shower) and she was not there. And since it is snowing today she won't be here tonight either, which means I think I have officially missed my chance to get the Sagittarius recipe and have to wait another 11 months. But guess what? It wouldn't have mattered because in the 45 star fragments I got, I got 44 regular and 1 Sagittarius, so I wouldn't be able to craft it anyway! And no, nobody needs to offer me any extras they may have. I figure I will either still be playing in a year and can (maybe?!) get them then, or I won't be and I won't really care. Just venting. That is all. Good day.

Just time travel and find Celeste to get DIY recipes from her.
Also, on my place there was a shooting stars on 27 November 2020 so i made a wish and farm the star fragments (and sometimes got Sagittarius fragment) as long as i want.

Colorful stockings seem to be the rarest of the Toy Day items.

@foxyflimflam haha, you should train your villagers to be more observant, perhaps gift them a telescope (: I just saw it. It's a very nice feature they added to the game. One day I want to see the real thing (:

On the rare occasion I finally get Redd and he has all fake paintings... yuck!

At least I have had decent luck with balloon DIYs.

@Heavyarms55 Ouch. Everything's fake this time, huh? I've been having at least 1 real thing every time I visit him.

@MarioLover92 Google says it's a 10% chance of that happening. Ah well.

I think I have all the ornament DIYs now! Except for the wrapping paper that you can only get on Toy Day itself. Really hope the next event isn't balloons.

I wonder what's next? Valentines Day?

@Heavyarms55 Oh that's cool! Yeah I think Valentine's Day will be the next major event.

@Heavyarms55 I think pretty close to 50% of the time they have all been fake for me (at least it seems that way, definitely more than 10% though). I know I have never had 3 real ones, which is also supposed to be a possibility. Redd is just one of those things that you either need to dedicate time to finding them all by other methods, or resign yourself to probably never getting them all. I'm in the second camp, which is fine by me.

(still really hope the next event uses a different mechanic and not balloons though)

How many ornaments DIY on ACNH ?
I got the ingredients but still no ornaments DIY.
Are they from the balloons ?

@Anti-Matter I think there's 13 of them. Yeah the balloons are the only way to get the ornament DIYs. They'll be around during the festive season.

@Anti-Matter yeah. Annoyingly they are balloons only. I just played a lot recently and ran up and down my beach every 10 minutes on the 10 to get the balloons. I think it took a good 30-40 balloons to get the DIY? But I wasn't counting.
