Hey everybody! have all the fruits except apples! orange native here! looking someone to trade like 20 apples for 20 oranges through mail? sw code is 3461-3115-5922
I’m new to AC so the turnip trade is a bit of an unknown to me. I bought 600 turnips for 93 bells each this morning. I’ve read articles online but all they really say is “buy low, sell high” without any indication of what’s high. Should I hold out until the value goes beyond a specific number?
I started my Animal Crossing: New Horizons a few hours ago. I recorded the first 4.5 hours of gameplay and then found that the file didn't save. I'm so bummed. I'm hoping to have the Airport built/unlocked after the game day reset (I assume at 6:00 am) and would like to be able to visit other islands as well as have visitors. Please, add me to your Switch Friend list.

*My aunt Linda browsed all posts within this forum and collected Switch Friend Codes from Signatures and from directly within posts. So, if you posted before this point, I've added you to my Switch Friend list. I'll work on getting the other Code from the Airport (I think that's where I get it).
@Mountain_Man definitely is a risky one! I found it easier to search Reddit or forums for people with high prices and see if they put up a dodo code. The village I ended up selling in just had a revolving door of visitors coming and going to sell turnips!

Anyone needing some cherry trees, tulips, wildflowers, or pansies? Looking for some new ACNH friends. Come swing by Silver Bay, in Northern Hemisphere.
@SwampRabbit Adding you. I'm also Northern hemisphere. It's Raining on my Island. Currently 3-29-20 at 1:28 pm. My native fruit is Apples, but I sold them all so don't have any to give away at the moment.

OK, so I'm trying to catch a stringfish before the end of the month, and I have a question if anybody knows. Does it only appear right by the waterfall, or can it be anywhere on the top cliff level? NL's guide makes it sound like it has to be by the waterfall, but it also said the same thing for the golden trout and I caught two of those last night right in the middle of the river nowhere near the waterfall or either pool.
I didn't realize stringfish were such a big deal. I randomly caught one on like my third or fourth day. The Critterpedia says "River (Clifftop)" for the location, and they're active from around 5pm to 5am. I think I caught it at the base of a waterfall, but I really don't remember.
Random tip: my son discovered that tapping A significantly speeds up crafting.
I've got another question: what if i don't want new villagers? I have 6 at the moment and is the perfect number for me; can i keep this number or will i be forced to get new villagers until i reach the maximum? Another one: if a villager leaves, what will happen to the house? Will it disappear or will it be occupied by a new villager?
Has anyone had any luck getting a tuna? I’m 10 football fish, 1 sturgeon and 2 oarfish in at this point. 😂 Wish we had a counter to see how many sea bass I’ve caught!

@RR529 Each piece of bait spawns one fish in your area. Might seem useless at first, but if you're looking for a fish that only shows up in a very specific area and/or time of day, it's pretty useful.
