@Ninfan There were toilet objects in the GCN version. I remember there being a regular toilet and then a fancy Japanese one.

Has anyone seen any other game systems as furniture yet? I'm just curious if there are any besides the Switch and AC Switch.

Man... again, day 4. native fruit apples. I traveled 2 more times today. 6 island visits now and 5 of 6 apples... I am at the point I hate seeing apples! haha

Got to tarantula island today so I’ll be able to expand my home for tomorrow and pay it off same day. If only life worked like that. Got a stack of bugs waiting outside Blathers’ tent. This game shouldn’t be this fun but I'm hooked. I think the lack of urgency allows my personality to set the urgency and not stress. I am a long time story of seasons player but I always reach a point where I feel overwhelmed and put it down. I feel like that won’t happen here.

That’s what I love about the AC games. You set the tempo. I played ACNL for years before stopping and only kept Story of Seasons around for a few months. But what is this tarantula island you speak of?!

@BrittGOAL14 if you use a nook miles ticket one of the random islands is a one level island with a central land mass separated by a thin moat around it (you can hop across without a vaulting pole). This island spawns tarantulas endlessly. I got bit up and I’m sure I made my arachnophobia worse, but I left with 28 of them to sell. I’m going to make sure I use a nook miles ticket in the evenings now to see if I can return.

Working away at the museum exhibits at the moment and trying to work out how to plan my town

Day five. Finished my first bridge, welcomed a few new neighbors on the island, and the museum opened. Today I'll be taking instruction on custom furniture from Tom Nook. I figure I'm...two-thirds through the "introduction period" of the game, as things don't truly get rolling until you unlock terraforming.

I assume obtaining a 3-star town rating might take a while.
