@Pink_Yoshi The obvious one is turnips, definitely the easiest and fastest way to make millions. I've also earned a fair bit from mystery islands (three with scorpions, one with dorado, quite a few with money rocks) and selling hot items (I had hearths selling for almost 11k and plenty of all the resources to craft them).
@Octane Most of the time. Occasionally you'll get one with a different type of fruit (but always the same one) or flowers with hybrid colours (although maybe just still the same type).
@Pink_Yoshi I got 90% of my money from selling bugs/fish/fruit/shells and selling hot items at Nook's Cranny. If you stock up on resources and craft as many as you can of the hot item, you can make a decent profit (depending on what the hot item is)
@Pink_Yoshi the easiest way I found: my island always has a large number of valuable butterflies. Empress before April hit now loads of peacocks and to a lesser extent Madagascar and rahj butterflies. I stocked them all until flick turned up then sold them.
If you want to put in a bit of extra work:
Take the money and buy as many turnips. Then find islands through reddit or on here where prices are 300-600 and make millions.

Thank you for the tips, I will definitely have to try the turnips, I'll buy some tomorrow. I'll also try these other things too. I appreciate all the help from people on here, I did play New Leaf but I was a latecomer to it (only bought it 2 years ago) so I didn't get this opportunity to chat with other players during the initial release. Its nice to be part of the community on here.
@Lard_Bucket oh i would like to grab that, can i add you as a friend? On my island Canberra is currently crafting "shell partition". Also Able sisters are selling Kappa Cap which made me smile.

That's a great idea, thank you. I will be doing all of those things too. Today I'm intending to try to construct my park.
If I add friends onto my console is that better than using a Dodo code?
@Pink_Yoshi Both ways have their uses. Doing by friends is nice if you don't want randoms seeing the code and jumping in and if you add someone as a best friend, you can see when they're online and send messages in-game.
