Who got the highest turnip prices right now i think my is going to get rotten

I just don't find the mechanic very rewarding. It's too easy to screw yourself and lose a bunch of bells if you forget to check prices or sell at the wrong time — I did it the first week, bought for 91, sold for 101, and then next day the Nook twins were buying them for 174!

Less than a minute. I knew it was supposed to be the next balloon after 300, so I was looking for it--and then I decided to document the moment. (I had to act fast!) (>^_^)>

I tried to search but came up empty handed, how is the couch coop on this game? Looking for something to play with my daughter. Does it take away from the game at all to have 2-3 people playing?

@Pink_Yoshi I do the turnips, but only on my island. I don't bother trying to find the best possible price somewhere out there in the world, I think that would be too much. Sometimes you lose bells on it when you get a week where the price only drops, but you more than make up for it on the good weeks. It doesn't have to be difficult if you don't make it, and the rewards are worth it.

@wafflesngravy Couch co-op isn't good for actually getting things done, but if you are just trying to have some fun quality time with your kids it is good. We do it with my wife and two kids (8 and 5 years old) and they have fun running around and showing us stuff. Just don't expect to do much to improve your island in any way together. That's not going to happen.

@Pink_Yoshi I honestly have never dealt with turnips in previous games but I just want the nook miles rewards honestly! After I get those, I'm done with them. Lol

In local, party play, only one person gets to be the "leader" and can play normally. Everyone else who isn't the leader is fairly limited in what they can do. I suppose it depends on how old your daughter is. If she's young she may be entertained by simply being able to run around. But if your daughter is older she may insist that she be the leader, and you might become bored or disinterested if you were left playing with non-leader functionality.

@FattyWhale_42 I am going to try it for this next week for sure! I just always have garbage prices it seems and I hate having to harass people for their prices! 😂

Does anyone else have Axel the elephant as a neighbor? He might be my favorite (he was one of my original two when I started, the Jock), but every time I see him talking with one of the other neighbors, when they are done the other one walks away angry or sad. It's hilarious. I'm wondering if it's only mine of it's a Jock think or an Axel thing or what.

@Xyphon22 That's pretty funny. Sheldon was my jock but I don't think he ever stirred up any trouble before I kicked him out.

@foxyflimflam I mean, even with the paltry sum of only 159 bells per turnip, I still netted I 600k profit. If I make another 500k a week, then I think I'll be good... I think... xD
