@BenAV thanks for info. i wonder if they might change this with an update going forward? Given the text in museum says "donated by....on such a date" i hoped i could donate to my brother's museum.
Good morning everyone!
I haven't played Animal Crossing since the GameCube version, but I bought the Switch version, and now all three in my family play.
I used to come to the forums for Super Mario Maker level sharing and constructive criticism.
Then it clicked this morning that if I end up getting good prices for turnips, that I can share that with my Nintendo Life forum people.
So, if I get a good price this week, I'll message on here and we can work out the details on how you can get to my island.
@meeto_1 Hey, just wanted to thank you again. I checked with Isabelle this morning and we now have a 3-star island and K.K. will come tomorrow, so I think it must have been your flowers that put us over the top. So thanks!
But on a related note, does anybody else think it is a lot easier to get good grades on things like your island and your house in this game? We have weeds everywhere so I didn't think there was any chance at a 3-star yet. I have also gotten a lot better grades from the HHA on my house considering I have done nothing but throw stuff on the floors to get it out of my inventory/storage.
@SonicMos I happened to pick it up today at the Able Sisters! I’m off to bed now (it’s 11:16pm here), but maybe there’ll be a window of time tomorrow where I can drop it off! I don’t have either the boots or helmet, so I’d be glad to catalogue them!
I think it would be too hard to write code to judge the aesthetics or even the coherence of an island sufficiently well. I have seen videos of islands that embrace weeds and use them to decorate and I think it looks nice. Its just too subjective and code is the opposite to that. Also saw a video where a guy just dumped loads of stuff on his island and got 4 stars. Its an aspect of the game that relies on you making the effort and then pretending the game can successfully judge your island correctly.

@Gret8888 I don't even remember how I got the western style stone DIY ( probably from a different villager cos I don't have Peaches ) I got some box diy from a different villager on my new game, so it's probably random of what or who.
I would like cooking recipe now, lol! eating 1 apple we get 1 time strength why not if we eat something we cook, ( depending on how many ingredient to make it ) we get the x time the strength. Or we can sell higher price for the cook items since for 20 weeds we collect, we get less bells than if we use 20 weed to craft something and then sell them. People complaining about hard work collecting recipe, here I am love collecting them, lol!
