Has anyone’s Nook’s Cranny upgraded yet? Anyone certain of what triggers it? Yes, that’s bothering me.

@BrittGOAL14 My friend time traveled and it upgraded soon after. So I am wondering if it is just number of days you "play" since I doubt she has already spent alot of bells or donated a lot of bugs (she just recently started playing). I've been hearing 29 days is what triggers it to upgrade but never seems to be anything "confirmed"

Edit : Times like these I am tempted to time travel, but I know I will appreciate it more once it does upgrade in real time (:

I've read that you need to have 29 days of active game play and sold items worth a certain # of bells. Ive seen 70,000 and 250,000 as numbers.

I time traveled once on New Leaf. Joey moved out and I never played again. 😂 I can wait if I have some sort of idea when.

Does nooks cranny add more variety of flowers over time? Or is it based on me buying certain amounts?

@peace_n_love_92 I got on my 3DS today to see if I have any old New Leaf friends on the Switch from here... I forgot I’d went on a mass deleting spree for some reason unknown to me. 🤦🏼‍♀️ it happens!!

@scubydo from what someone on discord told me they do but not often, so he/she told me to check everyday.
(edit: not add more variety, but they do change the one not your native, Mostly just for a day )

@brendathecat Thank you for offering to trade items. Yesterday (Easter Sunday), I used Time Travel to go back to April 10th. I got the last recipe I needed (the Lantern).

@MarioLover92 Ugh. I hate that!! With terraforming you can fix the sides of the river so it’s equal but otherwise... It sucks.

@BrittGOAL14 Yeah, I'm trying to get the terraforming right now. Isabelle did tell me to increase the number of villagers. I should do more decorating too, so those are what I'll be focusing on.

@foxyflimflam That's unnecessary. Eventually I just want to have the ability to get people what they want through my catalog. Because the cataloging area will quickly become unwieldy.
