Do listings always go up with "just announced at the Nintendo direct event"? Seems a bit too obvious/convenient that they're announced as being from a direct instead of just being a random placeholder
Gamescom is soon. We know publishers (like THQ Nordic) skipped E3 specifically to announce games there instead. Then it's also fair to assume that Nintendo will at least have a smallish Direct to address how online multiplayer for some games will no longer be free, i.e. - the launch of Nintendo Online. Add to that, Nintendo has already mentioned how not all of their planned 2018 games have been officially announced yet.
Things could happen over the next month to fill out the rest of the year.
Switch Physical Collection - 1,529 games (as of November 20th, 2025)
Switch 2 Physical Collection - 3 games (as of November 23rd, 2025)
@Joeynator3000 the same amazon that got devs and publishers annoyed with their constant F ups with putting game listing up online too early.
I haven’t seen a case were a trusted retailer leaks a game and it didn’t turn out to be true. Sometimes it gets revealed the week after, one time a dutch retailer leaked a game that got revealed a few months after but the leak still turned out to be true and not a lucky guess. (Dead island collection for ps4 and xbox one was such a case)
@Magician since then they have announced a new labo kit. Don't get your hopes up for much more than that.
It doesn't have to be anything earth-shattering. I'm the kind of Switch gamer who hopes that publishers push more of their 2005-2014 catalog of games onto the Switch. Although I'd appreciate something massive like say...Animal Crossing for Switch...to be announced tomorrow. I would be equally excited for...Resonance of Fate, or something equally obscure and niche.
[OT]Speaking of which. What is Tri-Ace doing these days? I wonder...

Remember how Nintendo announced that Mario kart mobile game forever ago that everyone forgot about? When's that suppose to come out again? It will probably have a direct as well I'm guessing
