We've got to get something arranged for Rocket League. This new tournament mode is an superb addition. We can set up our own private tournaments, all Arenas and modes are available for play. The graphics have also been improved massively, at least in handheld. It looks amazing.

Hey everybody, just wanted to say hi. 35 year old gamer here. Didn’t play much for years until I bought my son a Switch for Christmas. Now I’m playing more again. My newest system before the Switch was a PS2. I’ve played a bunch of Mario Odyssey and Payday 2. Getting into Zelda now, and I’ll probably try out MK8 soon (my son just got that for his birthday). I’ll probably buy Doom at some point, and quite a few other games I’m sure.
@Fafounet Yes, let's agree to share MK8 DELUXE Monday game night hosting from here on forward then. So if you are available next Monday, do you want to do the honours? E.g. Post announcement in here, organising a list of players and create the room on the Monday night.
I think we can pick another day of the week and host a second games night for another game.
I nominate @OorWullie as one of the ROCKET LEAGUE game night hosts. He knows the game inside and out and can support us newbies. Only if he accepts this nomination for hosting duties of course. Say no, if you'd rather not.

For anybody who has Splatoon 2, maybe we should make Salmon Run a thing. It's not always open, but if you download the app you can look up when the next 5 Salmon Runs are open. That info is also available in game. Just throwing it out a time- Thursday 8pm GMT? Grizco will be open for business then and I could host if anyone would be interested. If that's no good then maybe some other time. I also own Puyo Puyo Tetris and that would be cool to throw into the rotation. Obviously I'm all in on MK8D Mondays.
@mauhlin12 My wife and I regularly play Salmon Run if it is open Fri-Sun evenings UK time. @Meppi64 often joins us. So we are looking for a fourth. If you can ever make one of the evenings Fri-Sat-Sun, we'd love to have you join our crew.
As for a SPLATOON 2 games night on another night of the week. Sure, you go for it. Be ace to have set games for set nights 👍
E.g. SPLATOON Saturday or Sunday? TETRIS Tuesday/Thursday, lol!
@Lroy I'll check the message board and if you're cooking salmonids and jump in with you all. I probably play more Salmon Run than the base game. That would be cool if we had set games for set days. We also have Street Fighter Collection and Mario Tennis (Chain Chomp mains assemble!) in the coming months so lots of multiplayer fun to be had.

Calling all ROCKET LEAGUE players in this 'Adult Switch Gamers' thread.
The new update is out and it has added a Tournament mode.
@Oorwullie is messing about with it now for us and we should be able to have tournaments with us all involved for a game night.
Give us a heads-up, if you are up for joining a tournament one night. That way, we can get a list of names together and an idea of how many to make the tournament for.
@Lroy and anyone else here interested in Arms?? Doesn't need to be a regular weekly thing but every once in a while for something different if you guys are up for it. Probably better to get the Splatoon/Rocket League weeklys running first as they seem the most popular. I don't have Rocket League on Switch as own it on Xbox One and to be honest it didn't really click with me but will keep an eye out for a Splatoon 2 night so I can get schooled ey
