@meppi64 @Hybridseed Any interest in being a co-host for the game nights for PUYO PUYO TETRIS? Likely to be once a fortnight on a Monday. We play MK8 D on the alternate weeks.

@Lroy not sure if I'd be of much use as a host since I would only be able to play every 2 weeks since my buddy want to play co-op games on Xbox when he has the late shift.
He had a switch, but I think he might have sold it since I never see him online since January. :-/
He's pretty much only into shooters...

@Lroy Yeah, no problem at all! If I set up a new 'Events' thread tomorrow, we'll have a few different places to find the upcoming schedule - we've got Discord for communication too - I think that's a nice little set-up, really

...and same applies to me with the World Cup! I always go 'all in' when that rolls around - got a wall chart and everything! (..might even drag an old TV down from the loft for some side-by-side football and gaming! #LivingTheDream! Haha!) ..first time I can recall feeling genuinely been excited about a match between Russia and Saudi Arabia! CAN. NOT. WAIT!

@NaviAndMii Yeah. Got my wallchart up and have earmarked midweek as a big beer and snacks shop run ahead of the Opening Ceremony and the first game on Thursday afternoon. Can't come soon enough!

@NaviAndMii Nice work and thanks for putting in the hard work. Should help our organization be a little more... organized. Just a heads up and looking way into the future here, but Salmon Run won't be open next Saturday. Grizzco is closed from 1 PM Saturday until 1 AM Sunday GMT so hopefully we'll have enough people to do some private battles or just try to all join the same public Turf War. As for the World Cup USA didn't make it so I don't have a horse in the race, but if there is a scheduling conflict and we want to make a change to times or days it looks like we have many methods of communication to figure things out. Who is everybody's team here? I've seen England, France, Sweden, am I missing anyone among World Cup Qualifiers? My heritage is Norwegian, English, Scottish and German so go England or Germany!
@hybridseed RE: The Hydra Splatling- That weapon is widely regarded to be the worst possible weapon for Salmon Run and yet it keeps finding its way into the rotation. Your squid's movement speed is too slow, weapon takes too long to charge, you lose your charge if you have to swim, and you're basically dead if you get homing missiles or a stinger targeting you. I've seen some threads on Reddit and Gamefaqs complaining about it so you're not alone. I played a few rounds of Salmon Run last night and didn't want to rank down because of the Hydra so I called it an early quits. The Hydra is quite useful for those who want to take the time to learn how to use it (not me.) It's great for Splat Zones especially if the Hydra has a short ranged weapon like a brush, roller or dualies protecting their flank. But it's a niche weapon that for some reason Nintendo are desperate to make it mainstream so they just keep shoving it down our throats in Salmon Run.

Separately, but related, Im hoping for some new dlc tracks announced tomorrow. I suspect it is wishful thinking but you never know.

@Chris77 I’ve had my fingers crossed that Nintendo would add another two dlc packs to it too. Would be amazing if they just kept adding to it, it’s such an amazing MARIO kart I can’t imagine ever wanting a mk9 on switch.

@NaviandMii Nice one on the Event Thread creation - only thing I noticed was @Fafounet has said he can't host Tuesdays.

So I think SF Tuesday is going to be me as European lobby host and @Mauhlin12 as North American lobby host.

@hybridseed Cool. I was just asking you and @Meppi64 as I know you both have PUYO PUYO TETRIS and we need as many folks to share the hosting duties as possible as we are all in the same boat. Hard to commit to set times, limited availibity. So the more of us who do a little, less for any one person to do. But worth bearing in mind this is all very casual and flexible in any case. Just meant to be good fun with some organisation, lol!

So anyway, if and when PUYO PUYO TETRIS rolls round for a Games Night, if you are able to play as a host or just a participant that would be ace.
