@mauhlin12 sounds like a plan! I noticed that both Street F alpha 2 and 3rd Strike seem to Be performing better online for me anyway. We can have a go successively at each and find the most suitable one.
@wasilewski have not played the game a lot as I am committed to finish LA noire, but I also like 3rd Strike and Alpha 3 better (both new to me)

Fingers crossed we manage to get through to tomorrow without any further call-backs to hospital. Latest is they and their Mum are now full of summer colds on top of whatever virus thing my son has. I'm just the walking dead as very, very little sleep for past few days. Just fitting in little bursts of PINBALL FX3, FIFA 18 as I can to keep me sane.

Just looking ahead and realise E3 is upon us and so is the World Cup. I imagine this will rule some of us, myself included, out of the Game Nights for the next few weeks. If the numbers are still there by all means carry on as usual, otherwise might need to rearrange different evenings each week?

England play Costa Rica in their final warm-up game before the World Cup this Thursday. I think it was ARMS this week but even if the kids and Mrs are back to full health, I'm likely gonna sit that one out to watch the football. FIFA 18 has been such an unexpected joy for me, I'm actually following the sport again. Always love World Cup years... well until we inevitably crash out on a penalty shoot-out, lol! 😢

Yes indeed! The Switch is again a life-saver in scenarios when you only can play a bit here and there on the fly.

Yeah, the following Thursday (14th June) is when the World Cup kicks off (Russia vs Saudi Arabia) - luckily, that match will have concluded by early evening, so hopefully shouldn't affect our scheduled Rocket League session too much...but, from then on, it's pretty much wall-to-wall football for the next month!

Having flicked through the fixtures, it looks like the final match each day (at least in the Group Stages) will finish up at around 9pm-ish BST - so perhaps we might be able to get by most days by just pushing the start times back an hour-or-so? ..but, for others (eg. England's opening match the following Monday) we might have to makes some rearrangements/postponements - but we'll muddle through, I'm sure

@NaviAndMii Cool, knew you'd have it all in hand. Nice one. Like I said previously, I'm ruling myself out of both tonight's and Thursday's Games Nights this week. But hope to be back on soon. Just will be touch and go as E3 Press Conferences are on the following Monday (Square, Limited Run, Ubisoft, Sony) and the Thursday that week is World Cup Kick-Off day as you mentioned. I'll just keep an eye on this thread to see what's occurring. Cheers.

Certainly got an exciting month ahead of us, that's for sure! E3 is always one of my highlights of the year - and to have a World Cup kicking off shortly afterwards is an absolute treat! ..and if we can fit in the odd gaming night here and there - all the better!

I’m taking off 2 weeks from work just to watch the Cup. If not the games are on in the early to middle part of the day and you either miss them or work, can’t do both! So I’ll be home quite a bit starting the week after it starts, so if you guys want to do some impromptu gaming on any day, let me know.

Yeah, same goes for me - I'll keep popping in to this thread regularly and I've usually got Discord open on my phone, so if anyone fancies an impromptu Rocket League/Mario Kart/Splatoon session (the 3 online games I currently have on Switch) at some point, just give me a shout and I'm sure we can scramble something together

About the football my favorite have been for years Germany and Neuer.

@Eagle9 Nice! You got the Pokken controller right? I just got that one myself but for Street Fighter I think I still prefer the 8BitDo SNES Pro Controller. The Pokken controller is a really good controller for 2D games, especially retro platformers. As for Street Fighter I'll be setting up a lobby in 10 minutes so make sure I'm on your friends list and @Fafounet too so you can find us when you search for friends lobby.

Lobby is up for Street Fighter Collection! I set it to private and I don't see anywhere to put in a password so I guess just find me in friends lobby. I have all 4 games active so if we want to play a specific game let me know and I can change it.
