Ultimate is ~£10 more than the Pro2 it seems

Just wondering if the extra tenner is worth it?

(And yes, you can get the Bluetooth version for ~£50)

@Rambler The amazon page details say the Ultimate has hall effect analog sticks, which are supposed to solve drifting problems. Although, strangely, I can't find it mentioned on 8bitdo's website. If the Ultimate does, in fact, have hall effect sticks, I'd say it's worth it for the extra 10£.

@WoomyNNYes - ah, and the Pro2 doesn't I guess. That would definitely be worth the money

I was just looking at the features, and didn't even think of the innards!

@Rambler I just emailed 8bitdo support to ask them to confirm whether the ultimate controller has hall effect sticks. Seems really crazy their amazon page has that detail, while their own website would omit such a large selling point.

https://support.8bitdo.com/faq/ultimate-bluetooth-controller....

What joysticks are equipped on the Ultimate Bluetooth Controller?
GuliKit Hall Effect Sensing Joysticks

But...
https://support.8bitdo.com/faq/ultimate-2-4g-controller.html

What joysticks are equipped on the Ultimate 2.4g Wireless Controller?
ALPS Joysticks.

So the Bluetooth switch-compatible one has the hall-effect sticks, but the 2.4gh version doesn't.

Edit: didn't see your last post! This one looks a bit patronising now

Yeah, thats more tat to clutter up your room. My controllers sit on my speakers when charging, and doesn't look too bad.

And if you didn't see my edit above - my previous post wasnt in response to your yours about emailing them - I didn't see that one, so mine looks a tad patronising...
