During the early switch years (and arguably still now with Xenoblade X) , Nintendo had a lot of excellent titles from the Wii U they could rerelease. For most people these games felt fresh and from Nintendo’s perspective it allowed them to keep a good pace of constant releases without taking too much risks. I think Nintendo will keep a similar strategy but with the Wii U dry they will start looking at other consoles.
Hence the question any games in particular that you guys feel would be well deserving of a remake/remaster ?
-Super Metroid.
With the excellent presentation and controls of Dread, Super great atmosphere and map would be sublimed. The original is already critically acclaimed the reputation could help sell it.
-Earthbound
Nintendo might never release Mother 3 in the West but they love Earthbound. Every releases on modern hardware had special trailers and felt like something bigger than other virtual console/NSO games. In terms of aesthetic something in claymotion would feel really unique.
Marvelous
-Super Famicon exclusive that was the 1rst game by Zelda famed Eiji Aonuma. Could be a fun distraction before a new 2d Zelda
-Kid Icarus Uprising
This game is amazing great single-player and multiplayer gives more argument for people to subscribe to NSO
-Golden sun
With the og switch being compatible I don’t know if people would really want new Tennis/Golf games ? Good opportunity to bring back an older franchise to a bigger audience maybe.
-Super Mario Galaxy 2
People will be mad it wasn’t included in the 3d collection but we would all buy it me 1rst haha. Potentially could test the current market for a 3rd game.
Early on in Switch 2 life if Nintendo wants to keep putting games on Og Switch, remasters can be a great way to reintroduce smaller ip’s to a vast public. Stuff like Rythm Heaven/Wario land/ Sin and Punishment could really benefit from it.
I think the Zelda N64 games don't deserve to be 'stuck' on the 3DS. So conversions to the Switch or Switch 2 or even new, more ambitious remakes would be perfect. I agree with you on Kid Icarus. Such a gem of a game. I think Super Metroid holds up pretty well. Super Mario Galaxy 2 would fit well in a second 3D All Stars Collection with 3D Land.
Personally I'd like to see Pikmin 1/2 Remakes. I know these games are already on Switch, but I'd love to see complete remakes with the clay art style. Maybe have Pikmin 2 co-op like what was originally planned?
Where Ocarina is concerned, the native-PC/Steam port "Ship of Harkinian" is everything Nintendo should aspire to undertaking themselves.... upscaled graphics/definition alongside full camera controls and a ton of UI upgrades/QoL features.
I don't think Ocarina or Majora need the full FF7 remake treatment, just a decent native remaster. The "Metroid Prime" treatment if you will...
i think a kirbys dream land (game boy) remake would be really fun in modern graphics! weird one i know but i would love it! oh and mario sunshine has always been intriguing to me, would love to explore that on switch or switch2!
BRING NINJI INTO MARIO KART WORLD RIGHT NOW.

A remake of Super Mario 64 would be cool to see. One that has the DS version's content, particularly the extra stars to collect, and maybe even the minigames... I wonder how those would play with the Switch 2's mouse mode? The only thing I'm unsure of is having to switch between characters. Maybe the game would let you swap them on the fly, instead of having to go to a certain room in Peach's castle.
And yes, I'd also love to see F-Zero GX being remastered with online. That would be totally awesome. Kirby's Epic Yarn would also be great as a Switch 2 remaster, would love to see that game get the HD treatment.

What would even be the point of those boss battles then? That’s how you get access to the characters. If you can just swap them right out of the box, those character rooms just won’t exist.
@MrCarlos46 Oh the extra boss fights, good point. Perhaps when you defeat a boss, you'll unlock that character and you can play as them at any time, via a character ring or something. (Think the tool ring from New Horizons.) That room I was talking about is the room where you'd enter the secret slide. But yeah, I think if they design the game like I described, that room would have to be changed from how it was in the DS version.

After the great Zelda: Link's Awakening remake on Switch, I'd metaphorically kill for remakes of the Zelda Oracle games. Those are some of my favorites in the series.

I'd mainly be interested in niche dormant stuff coming back - think stuff like Mole Mania, Tomato Adventure, Hotel Dusk, Marvelous: Another Treasure Island, EarthBound, and Excitebots (Kid Icarus Uprising and Punch-Out are also sort of in that camp at this point). With that said, I'd be happy to see games like Super Mario 64, Paper Mario 64, the Oracle games/The Minish Cap, Super Metroid, Pokemon Conquest, and especially F-Zero GX
@OctolingKing13 To add to @Uncle_Franklin 's comment. Not only Spring Breeze, but there's also Revenge of the King on Kirby Super Star Ultra for the DS (being a remake of the Hard Mode) and Kirby's Blowout Blast on the 3DS is also sort of a 3D remake of Kirby's Dream Land.
As for what remake I want from Nintendo, I'm gonna say the Kyle Hyde games (Hotel Dusk: Room 215 and Last Window: The Secret of Cape West) in the same vein as Another Code: Recollection.
Rusty's Real Deal Baseball is now a hidden gem of the Nintendo 3DS.
