Topic: Pokemon Pokopia

A new Ditto game in the Pokemon universe. Who saw this one coming. looks really cool. Absolutely looking forward to it. Coming to the Nintendo Switch family. Super hyped about this one. The Ditto mechanics look really cool.

This looks amazing. I hope it bridges that gap for me and Animal Crossing. Plus so many gen 1 pokemon means I can play and not google everything every 5 minutes.

@Anti-Matter, it's a Nintendo published game, and Nintendo published games are never Game Key Cards, at least so far.

This game was definitely very surprising. I'm interested, although I want to learn more.

I guess this will definitively prove if a large portion of Pokemon fans will ever buy spinoffs of any sort or not. If it does and its less than Animal Crossing quality, I'll be even more annoyed at the sales for New Pokemon Snap/Mystery Dungeon remake.

Just a bit of speculation here.

The unconfirmed boxart of Pokopia clearly shows two players working the land at the same time. Maybe I've missed it, but there is no info out there yet about potential multiplayer, is there?

Multiplayer would for me be a decision-factor to go for an immediate purchase (given that the reviews are ok).

They do put the player list as 1-4, so it should allow multiplayer. Now, how that will be handled? I don't know.

Pokémon Pokopia, is something both my wife and I, are really looking forward to playing. I got into ACNH's because of my wife, and enjoyed the game (way more than I expected), so to combine that with Pokémon seems like an easy win.

Hype! Buying it digital. Buying indies digital pretty much influenced me to go fully digital for AAA games anyway.

I'm wondering if this is for spin-offs and not the core series...I might be spewing smoke from my brain...but Pokepia is a spin-off anyways to be fair...

But still...this pretty much kills any reason that I no longer want a Switch 2...

Pokopia is $70. Yikes.
